Me and my wife stayed at Villa Betta for 3 nights, along with my parents and extended family, all who took over the accommodation as we were attending a family wedding in the village.
We arrived by train, where we were met by Pedro on arrival at the station — who had kindly and unexpectedly offered to pick us up and drive us to the Villa where we were met by his wife Betta and their two adorable dogs, Sale (Salt) and Pepe (Pepper).
Both Pedro and Betta couldn’t do more to accommodate us! And although they didn’t speak much English, we’re very conversant with Google Translate, which they often used to communicate for ease, which made for some very amusing moments.
Our room was the best room in the hotel, with a large private balcony overlooking the entire village and sea! The room was air conditioned and clean, the facilities included an inviting garden area and swimming pool, which we spent much of our time when we weren’t out and about.
On the day of the wedding, although I had roll packed my shirt, it was a little creased — and though there wasn’t an iron in the room, I decided to go downstairs and ask Betta, who obliged and even began to iron my shirt for me, which was very thoughtful.
I speak for all of my family in saying we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at Villa Betta and would definitely love to visit again, should we find ourselves passing by!

I stayed at room 1 for 3 days — the view from terrace is amazing especially on sunsets! walking distance to the beach, has its own pool. The room was always clean and the hosts are AMAZING. Pedro&Elisabetta are always there to help and taking care of you like family.
