This B&B is magical. The location is heavenly with the greenery of the mountains and the ancient charm of the town. The BnB itself is charming with laced linens and an old fireplace and large windows. The breakfasts room and breakfast are delicious with pastries and the best Italian coffee. We were welcomed by Antonio who is the ultimate host and saw to our every need BUT THEN we were welcomed by the ENTIRE town of Allessandria del Carretto, from our beautiful neighbor Domenica who helped us with our Italian and let us use her laundry lines; to our guide Lorenzo who was so knowledgeable about the area, the land, the cultural richness of the area and who gave us a true eco-experience; followed by Silvana who made the best coffee at the caffe to Giovanni whose restaurant was the daily mid day feast — even if we were not up to the task; including Don Guiseppe who gave us a personal tour of the church — incredible. In our 5 week trip in Italy it will be the highlight of the trip. Our Italian got better, our hearts got lighter, our calves got stronger (! ) and we feel privileged to have met this Italian town!

There are no weaknesses. From the preservation of tradition in stone accommodation to the welcome towards I dogs. From the tarts and jams prepared at home by Antonio's mother to the care of the customer in every aspect.
If you can, wish Antonio well a week before his wedding. Best wishes from us.

Excellent value for money excellent service for courtesy and hospitality … We were guests of this property also for excursions in the Pollino National Park and we must warmly thank ANTONIO for his impeccable driving experience… showing us places and landscapes with breathtaking views…
we also thank you for the delicious breakfast and the incredible packed lunch you have offered us! ROUTE and itinerary absolutely recommended for Families with and without children!
