Review of Policoro Village Hotel 4*

I am a mom to a little boy of 2 years and 8 months and girl of just under 4 years and have chosen to stay at Policoro Village because I was assured by telephone that there was a service of animation for children from 3 years upwards. I did well 2 phone calls asking for details of the Mini-Club and is responsible for both a collaborator I have been assured that children are constantly under control and that all activities at the beach and camping are carried out in an enclosed place. Unfortunately I quickly found that the animated activities is not suitable for children who have at least 7/8 years is carried out in unsafe places for children. In the morning takes place on the beach and in the afternoon near the exit on the driveway leading to the beach, between the bustle of cyclists who do the slalom between the children. Also the quality of the animation leaves much to be desired. At the beach, for example, you ask the kids standing in line a long time under the Sun to Dunk in a plastic cup with the pebbles or center the hole of a life preserver kicking a football. Another sore point was the accommodation. My family and I stayed from 16 to 23 August in the deluxe bungalow B23 for "moderate" figure of 990 euros. The cottage is objectively spacious but needs cleaning and disseminated for maintenance. The thing that I was particularly disgusted is the State they were in services. In particular the shower walls and the plate were full of mold. The shower curtain, held on with a broomstick, was so long that we would stumble. Also the hot water produced by an electric boiler of 15 l, it was enough just to 2 very quick showers and had to wait about 40 mins because it again at room temperature. Already by the second day my partner and I have expressed our disappointment to the manager that "too busy running a tourist industry" (textual) said he couldn't remember what he says on the phone about the kids ' Club. And when I showed him the pictures of shower merely say that he would have taken action and the penultimate day a worker could not say the poor job done by the cleaners and their need to scrape the head sealing moldy and recreate them all. The boiler is then limited to lift your shoulders. When I asked for a discount for the disruption caused to the young and arrogant Manager replied that didn't think of dovercelo because, again I quote, "we can't measure satisfaction with the discount level". In addition, professional and not at all sarcastically added that knows that the Venetians (I am now) always ask for the discount. At this point my partner has indicated that he even wanted to tackle a Neapolitan 900 km to stay in a structure of Lucania because experience has led him to admit a major upward trend unfortunately approximation of southerners. However, in addition to avoiding tacky allusions about where its customers, I would suggest to the young head to stay in some other similar structure of Policoro Village. I'm sure it will have difficulties to realize just how low is the value for money offered by its "tourism industry".
