We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Thea Maris guest house in the lovely little town of Maratea. Our hosts were extremely kind and thoughtful, even taking us into the old town and to the nearby train station when we departed.
The house is very comfortable and we had a lovely view of the ocean from our balcony. The ocean is nearby for a swim and the quaint town up the hill. A very enjoyable 3 night stay before the hectic pace of Rome.

Spacious and functional apartment located a stone's throw from the station and above all in an optimal position for the sea and the port area. Mr. Francesco and Mrs. Mariarosaria were excellent hosts and above all always smiling and available for our every need. I highly recommend it.

Kindness and availability are the flagship of this structure. Located a few steps from the Port of Maratea, it is equipped with everything you need to spend a relaxing holiday in Maratea.

We spent two nights in this very comfortable well-appointed clean B&B. The proprietors are very hospitable genuinely empathic people who quite obviously enjoy conversations with their guests. We were given everything needed to have a proper breakfast with an abundance of fruit, yoghurt, milk, coffee, fruit juice, bottled water, bread sliced hams and salami. The proprietors even made us a fresh chocolate cake. Very nice indeed! The beds were very comfortable, neither too form not too soft. I didn't wake up with a sore back as often happens when staying in rented accommodation. There was plenty of hot water for even 4 people to have nice hot showers. All told a very nice stay.

We stayed the first two weeks of September at the Thea Maris which reserved the ground floor apartment for us consisting of two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom and a large outdoor space all to ourselves, where you can have lunch and dinner admiring the statue of Christ the Redeemer. The structure is located halfway between Maratea and the port, in a quiet and strategic position such that in a few minutes by car you can reach the most beautiful coves, with an emerald green sea, located within 30 km of coast that characterize the Tyrrhenian Basilicata. The apartment is large, approximately 80 m2, clean and equipped with every comfort from the washing machine to the outdoor shower, very convenient for when you return from the sea at lunchtime, very fresh and ventilated what surprised us is the hospitality, the real one; which has a flavor of times gone by and which now, in a frenetic and distracted world, is difficult to find and appreciate. Franco and Maria Rosaria made us feel at home ours, upon arrival knowing that we are vegan they made us find organic and cruelty free bathroom products, dispensing precious advice on places to visit and places to eat, and moreover they delighted us with the extraordinary products of their vegetable garden which they have an authentic flavour, that of the extraordinary land in which they grow. In essence, Thea Maris is highly recommended.

I highly recommend this accommodation. Large, comfortable and clean apartment; equipped with all comforts. The excellence, then, is in the hospitality of the owners.
Excellent base for visiting the entire coast of Maratea.
