I had the pleasure of staying at the B&B Mariposa in Cersuta di Maratea and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience!
Positive aspects.
Welcoming: The owners were incredibly hospitable and attentive, making my stay truly special.
Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean and tastefully furnished, offering a breathtaking view of the sea. The bed was super comfortable!
Breakfast: Every morning I was able to enjoy a rich and varied breakfast, with fresh and local products. Excellent homemade desserts!
Location: Situated in a privileged position, the B&B offers easy access to the splendid beaches and panoramic paths of Maratea.
Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, parking available and a beautiful garden to relax in after a day of exploring.
Conclusion.
The B&B Mariposa is the ideal place for those seeking tranquility and beauty in one of the most evocative areas of Basilicata. I can't wait to go back! 5 stars deserved! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We returned after a year for my husband Lello's birthday. Angela is an exceptional person and her B&B is superb! Comfortable and tastefully furnished room. Exquisite breakfast with excellent quality zero km products. Breathtaking panorama. There is a magical atmosphere that gives you well-being and complete relaxation. All accompanied by a crystal clear sea just a few steps away… I highly recommend it. Maria Cristina.

What to say? I can only say positive impressions about this stay!
We stayed 2 nights at the Mariposa with the family and our kitten… first of all the welcome was unexpectedly friendly in front of an aperitif with a glass of Aglianico that Angela thought of offering us upon our arrival.
The breakfasts on the terrace with a view (in the shade of a literally spectacular Avocado) are priceless and complete with everything. The rooms are spotless and tastefully furnished, each with its own balcony overlooking the sea.
Even the kitten (in her first experience away from home) had nothing but welcome and affection from the owner.
Angela's availability, friendliness and kindness give added value to the stay! And final bottle of Aglianico super appreciated!

We stayed in this place of peace for 2 nights; Angela is amazing, both in her welcome and in her treatment. Caring in preparing breakfast as you wish, we opted for a classic breakfast with homemade desserts, she always offers fruit and more. The room is clean, with attention to the smallest details and welcoming, equipped with a TV, mini fridge and air conditioning. Waking up and sipping a coffee with balconies overlooking the sea is beautiful!
The point is strategic for reaching Maratea and its most beautiful beaches. The Skywalk route is unmissable, just a few meters away.
Highly recommended.

What a wonderful stay! this is such a lovely place a few minutes away from Maratea.
Easy to find, parking space available both within the B&B premises or nearby, B&B Mariposa has breathtaking views, access to a small beach with crystal clear water and even better views of the gulf that can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot, and a super clean room. This alone would be worth 5 stars, but Angela's approach to hospitality probably deserves twice or three times as many stars: Her pastries are out of this world (she had also made choccolate muffins which she didn't initially bring out because she said they were a test and didn't like the way they came out, they tasted waay too good as far as I was concerned), we had breakfast on our terrace, with fruit and pastries made by Angela herself, while basking in the sun and enjoying the view of the sea (and the occasional squirrel on the treetops). To top that off, Angela was very helpful in guiding us through Maratea's main attractions, bars and restaurants. By the end of our very short stay we felt like we made new friends. We will be back very soon!

Wonderfil seaview, beautiful italian countryside, gardens, hens and bird song and you just fall in to complete calmness. You get your breakfast served at your own terrass by Angela, the hostess of Mariposa. The most kind and wonderful person! And If you stay longer, you will se that she is able to make your breakfast eggs in a different way every day! And then I have to mention the bruccetta, homemade jam and the cakes … Highly recomended!
