➜ We spent three days in this lovely place newly opened, where everything is studied in detail but nothing turns out to be artifact, placed in a context of absolute tranquility and silence. The large green space surrounding the villa remains faithful to the native species of Salento, there is a small pine forest where a swimming pool will soon be built, where you can lull yourself lying on hammocks, to the slight breeze that varies according to the days and relax completely. Antonio, perfect amphitheath filled us with attention and care. We occupied the apartment "The Olenadri", perfect in every respect with its private patio, the design carefully and equipped with everything. And don't worry, if something is missing, just ask and it is brought to you right away! Ceglie is beautiful with its narrow streets and alleys and all-white houses, the small squares and the many small clubs and restaurants that come alive in the evening. Really a pleasant discovery. The sea is a few kilometres away and is a great starting point to visit this unique and wonderful corner of Puglia.
I can only strongly recommend this safe structure that over the years will give Antonio great satisfaction.
➜ I am an elderly Swiss citizen. In my long life I have travelled a lot and frequently I used bnb. The one in the South of Italy at Ceglie Messapica turned out to be the most pleasant of all.
At the outskirts of the town, a private road leads up a flat hill. On its flat top stands a modern villa, surrounded by a large garden — Part of the villa has been transferred into two delightful and comfortable bnb-units. In June 2019 my partner and I were the first guests in one of them. Antonio, the owner is indeed a very clever amateur builder and at the same time a most charming host. Highly recommended!
I am a swiss citizen who is no longer young. In my long life I have travelled a lot and have often used bnb. I didn't like anything anywhere near as much as that in southern Italy, in Ceglie Messapica.
