A good b&b, cheap prices, a well-kept villa, less than 1 km from the beaches, friendly and helpful owners. My family and I had a great time for 2 weeks in July.
➜ Mr. Francesco has a dependence in his villa. It is a 2 story house itself. On the ground floor a spacious kitchen, a very large bedroom with a double bed and two singles and a bathroom with shower. On the upper floor there is a spacious double bedroom and a replica of the one below with 3 beds, one double and two singles, the bathroom is shared, so it is rented to a single family unit which can therefore accommodate up to 6-7 people.
The couple of gentlemen who run the B&B are very affable and kind, ready to respond to the needs of their customers. On the property there is a small orchard and an above ground swimming pool for children, as well as a large square. Not far away are organized beaches and free beaches with a wonderful sea. Numerous restaurants and delicatessens with good Apulian cuisine at excellent prices. I recommend the Pesciotto a short distance away in Lido Gandoli, a fish shop, delicatessen and very fresh fish restaurant. And, in Taranto, Puglieria, a fantastic pucceria, with local gastronomic excellence, in Corso Umberto, overlooking Piazza Vittoria. In Lama, in the center there is also an excellent pizzeria "da Rituccia" and a brewery which, in addition to a good selection of beers, also offers good snacks. I ate the "pidaza", a Mexican tortilla cut into slices with ultra-appetizing condiments.
