A 3 star hotel with 5 star service. You simply can’t do any better than L’arcangelo. The hotel itself has been wonderfully restored to top notch modern standards while still maintaining its historic charm. The owner is so wonderful and you can feel her pride in how much she has done in the last years in transforming the hotel. The city itself is interesting, and she was an amazing guide for us. I’m so glad we stayed here, we will likely return.

I stayed at the hotel for a week and want to give special thanks to Fabio, Simone, and Federica. Their service was outstanding—nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure both myself and my family were well taken care of. Despite their long shifts, they always greeted us with kindness and went out of their way to help with anything we needed. Thank you once again for everything you did to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Lovely boutique hotel perfectly positioned for exploring Taranto old town and with sea views from some rooms. Our room was clean and simply furnished to highlight the old stone walls. Nice clean modern bathroom. Windows overlooking the square and the sea.
The staff were adorable (special mention to Alessandra who was so welcoming and spoke perfect English) and lent us umbrellas as it was raining.
The hotel accepts pets and our dog was welcome. Parking was easy enough near by.
Breakfast was simple but with quite a good choice of fruits, yoghurt, cheese, ham, eggs and cakes and pastries.
We would definitely come back to this hotel and Taranto is a beautiful city with a fascinating history.
