Casa Mita was for me a very pleasant surprise. Family-run, Casa Mita is a delightful B&B but above all it is an excellent restaurant in which to appreciate the genuine cuisine of a once revisited but in a modern key through singular combinations that give an extra touch even to the simplest dishes. Welcoming, well furnished and cared for in detail, the environment becomes even more pleasant thanks to the courtesy and professionalism of the staff: Paola — daughter of the owners — together with her brother stand out for Garbo and helpfulness. Among the dishes to try the raw sea fresh and the appetizers, including unmissable are in my opinion lasagna with almonds and shrimps in paste accompanied by a sublime jam of Peppers Cruschi. Top also desserts prepared with love and quality ingredients. The prices? Totally honest! And after dinner recommended is perhaps a digestive to sip on the beautiful terrace with sea view.

It is always satisfying to taste the gastronomic proposals of chef Arcangelo Mita. Good and various appetizers, among which I appreciated the tuna tartare and the tails of fried shrimp in fillo paste.
Grandiose the choice of the first, which is actually a complete dish: cavatelli with meat sauce with pork knucklefish.

The place is particularly pleasant in the spring/summer period, especially in the evening, for the terrace overlooking the coast.

It's the first time as a guest. Excellent impression, good quality appetizers and to be Christmas the price exposed, 50 euros, is well adjusted for a complete lunch, from appetizer to dessert, wines included.

The Pearl of Pulsano really deserves the status of icon of the catering industry. The love and passion put into this field on the part of the owner and his staff are not only excellent but enviable.
