Nice hotel which is located at about 3 km of port Otranto. Food is alright, a remark to make there are a lot of stairs/elevators to take get to your room. The way to your room can complicated.

A hotel on the outskirts of Otranto that could be so much nicer than it is. The hotel and rooms require updating as they are looking tired and dated. The room has little in the way of drawer storage, with a real lack of drawers to store clothing. It does have a wardrobe but not all clothes can be hung on a shirt hanger. The hotel is spread over a large area, having five “wings” and is built on very sloping terraced ground with many, many, step’s and whilst it has some small lifts it is an impracticable place for older or infirm guests. The hotel itself has a dining room which serves breakfast and dinner. The breakfast had no variation and was very limited. The restaurant offers a set evening dinner, but not a la carte options, so a walk into Otranto to find such restaurants is the norm. There is one small hut on the side of the pool that serves drinks in plastic cups and some snacks. This is where the hotel really lets itself down and could be so much better. The hotel has a bar in the reception area and a wonderful bar area in the landscaped front of the hotel which would be such a nice and relaxing place to take a drink but neither are open or used. Strangely, the staff advised that “these are not open because it’s summer”. If you want to take a drink in the evening it’s a case of purchasing one at the pool shack in a plastic cup and finding a sun lounger to sit on (in your evening clothes). The hotel could and needs to do so much better.

Rooms were nice and perfectly clean. Clean service is really good. Front desk lack of English and lack of experience as they don’t know what is going on (some of them) you ask for water and they can not even provide that and you have to walk down to the pool to get a glass of water. Food is ok, not great similar to airport vibes. Location is a bit far but I slept amazing in their rooms.

The room was small and outdated. The hotel have an awkward layout, we needed to go up and down several flights of stairs and elevators to go from the room to the restaurant or the reception. The food at the restaurant was good and with a good variety of local flavours. Very good relation price-quality.

Hotel was spotless. Breakfast was great and plenty of it. Drinks at the pool were reasonable price. We spent 10 nights there and would certainly recommend it. The grounds were lovely and again were very well maintained. Staff were extremely helpful.

A bit out of town but with generous space around. Large rooms, however, hard to get to due to unusual layout of the hotel. Had dinner, which was excellent, great food and impecable service. Only the reception bar should be open at all times.

It is a large building with many blocks connected by stairs and aisles. However there are elevators for people with mobility issues.
The front staff is very helpful, as well as the restaurant crew. Breakfast has plenty of food and is served as a buffet. The swimming pool is a bit crowded, but there is a transfer service to a beach club where you car hire umbrella and chairs.
Good location and clean facilities.

Really good hotel within relatively easy drive from Brindisi airport. Room was really nice with a good bathroom and a balcony with a pool view — all very clean and the daily cleaning team were very friendly and efficient. All other staff were effective if not overly effusive and bar prices are fair — 4 euros for a Peroni, and about 6 for a glass of wine.
The pool is a really good size and has about 40 beds around it so we always got one if we stayed on site. Breakfast is adequate and of a continental style — perfectly fine but no great wow factor.
I know nobody books a hotel because of its gardeners, but they should get a special mention — the grounds are immaculate and full of interesting and beautiful plants. The walk to the old town takes about 15 minutes and there are well over 30 restaurants to choose from — we tried about 10 of them for either lunch or dinner and did not have anything other than lovely food and some cracking white or rose wines. There’s a nice beach in town but expect to pay at least 30 euros for two beds and a shade for the day. It’s a very shallow for at least 25 metres from the beach so should be pretty child friendly.

This grand old hotel has seen better days; worn, ripped silk upholstery on the foyer chairs, stained and threadbare hallway carpets and hard, wavy mattresses … Excellent, attentive staff, beautifully kept areas, clean and orderly—

I stayed with my husband in this wonderful hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff, all very nice and clean, great food. Wonderful spa… I will definitely come back to stay a few more days.
