I stayed at B&B Hotel Manduria expecting a straightforward, comfortable base, but left disappointed. The overall impression was of a property that prioritizes turnover over guest experience. Communication felt transactional and responses to questions were slow and unhelpful. The room itself looked fine at a glance, yet the details—the small things that make a stay feel cared for—were missing. It didn’t feel as clean or as well maintained as it should for a modern chain hotel, and several “standard” comforts didn’t deliver consistently.
Sleep quality was another letdown. The building is not particularly soundproof, and between corridor noise and general activity, it was hard to rest properly. The bathroom setup felt tired, with small maintenance frustrations that made everything feel less fresh than expected. Wi-Fi performance was unreliable, which is a real problem if you need to work, stream, or even plan your day.
What bothered me most was the lack of ownership when issues were raised. Instead of quick fixes or a genuine attempt to help, the attitude was more “that’s how it is. ” Even the basic conveniences—clear guidance on arrival procedures, practical information, and simple courtesy at the desk—felt inconsistent, and that matters when you’re traveling, arriving late, or managing luggage.
Nothing here was a single dramatic disaster; it was the accumulation of small disappointments that made the stay feel overpriced for what you get.

This is not a 4 Star hotel. It's a 3 Star at best. There is no restaurant, only the room that they serve breakfast in. The breakfast is mediocre at best. No scrambled eggs, no boiled eggs, nothjng of substance. Jusy a bunch of packaged goods unpacked and laid out with some cheese and salami. They do not have a laundry service, gym, or "on-site" parking as described on pages such as Hotels. Com. Parking is on the street. If they have an event, they will close the street and you will have to park across the street at the grocery store. The Spa was not up and running (not sure why. But this just added to the things that weren't available in this "4-Star" hotel. ) The lobby is beautiful, but other than that and the jacuzzi in my room, I'm not too sure what I paid 200+ a night for.
The older gentleman that works there (I'm guessing he's the manager or owner) could care less about our presence at the hotel. Only ever greeted us (after check in) if we happened to make eye contact with him. Didn't say goodbye when we checked out, even though he was sitting in the lobby. Nikola and the rest of the staff were incrediblely helpful and friendly. This is the ONLY reason I'm leaving a 2-Star review. Save your money or stay in an actual 4-Star, amenity having hotel.

The staff was very kind, patient and helpful. They made several calls for us to secure a reservation at Es, sort out the menu questions, and hire a car service for us since there weren’t any taxis in town.
