We stayed at TESSA Hotel in Leverano for 2 nights last week, and honestly, “surprise” is far too small a word to describe what we experienced!
This hotel deserves far more than 5 stars. With only 6 rooms, the atmosphere feels exclusive and intimate, and each room is more like a beautifully designed private apartment. Everything is brand new, spotless, and equipped to the highest modern standards, down to the smallest detail.
The bedroom was excellent, with an incredibly comfortable mattress, and the bathroom was one of the most luxurious we have ever experienced. The minibar includes complimentary water and sparkling water, refilled daily, a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated.
Breakfast was outstanding, freshly prepared on-site every morning by two lovely and talented women. Every day, handmade pastries are prepared according to your personal choice, selected through a form completed the day before, such a unique and special experience!
The hotel also has a beautiful-looking swimming pool, adding even more charm to the property.
Its location in the Puglia region is excellent as a base for day trips around the area, situated in a quiet village with easy access to the main roads and nearby attractions.
An exceptional hotel that we highly recommend. It is truly wonderful to find places like this. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay!

Located in a small town called Leverano, which was as cozy as our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful with everything. The place was clean with private parking and tasty breakfast so there's no complaints, only praises! Thank you for the warm welcome!

We've booked Tessa just the night before our trip, not really knowing where we would end up or what to expect. Giorgio and Isabella welcomed us when we arrived, late in the evening, immediately arranged a restaurant for dinner, and had a lovely chat as the first sign of their generous hospitality. The room was very nice, neat, new, and sparkling clean. It has all what you need, maybe even more than what's needed. Super friendly owners, Giorgio and Isabella, have treated us not as customers but as their guests throughout our stay. Every day, we received suggestions to visit the neighborhood, which were all great. Alessandra and Stefania, the two lovely ladies preparing the breakfast, spoiled us every morning with so much attention. We learned about the delicious caffè leccese and other super delicious local gourmet food of Puglia region. When we were leaving, it felt like we were leaving behind a family… It has been by far the best accommodation/vacation experience we have had so far. I hope the honesty and the passion they have for their business will always remain, and we'll happily come back again.
