Urban Oasis Hostel

This is an amazing hostel in a beautiful old building close to the historic centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. In my room was only 3 beds so it was very spacious. Very quiet. Great facilities including a wonderful garden. Great local recommendations. Laundry service. Highly recommend this lovely place.

Overall, the stay was good. The administration was polite and nice, the rooms are spacious and the view from the balcony is amazing. I enjoyed time spent in the garden and would even recommend the place. The location was also great and central. But addressing the biggest most disgusting and unacceptable thing, it's bedbugs that I discovered upon seeing one on my bag and then a night later bites from them. This has been. A very unpleasant experience.

Hardware is ok with nice kitchen and great garden. Generally clean. Location is perfect though!
Seldom a hostel is good in providing information but the staffs are not passionated, but here you have one.
The sound proof is very poor, and the bed has no curtains, also not fix on the wall. Which means the other person moves then your bed is shaking too.

One of the cleanest hostel I have been to! Nice 4 people bedrooms, quite large, and each has an individual bathroom that is cleaned everyday. You have a locker for every bed, a lot of common space and a nice kitchen and garden.
Not located in the old town but you just have to walk 5 minutes and you are there.
The neighbourhood is very quite.

Nice hostel with kitchen and furniture, garden, tables, a book exchange spot, sofas; location also is not bad, between the center and the station. Not super friendly staff, didn't like the fact the locker needs a locket and they haven't told me that in advance so I had to buy one from them. Rooms have personal fan at the end of the bed for the hot. Not the best hostel neither the worst.

I had an amazing experience at this hostel! The service was exceptional in every way, from helping with activities and planning to ensuring the rooms were spotless. The overall atmosphere of the hostel was very pleasant, and I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. Thank you for the nice experience!

This hostel literally is an oasis. They have a gorgeous backyard that looks so similar to the Roman courtyards you see at the Pompei ruins. Rooms have plenty of space, the front door is secure, and there are many hang out areas. Staff are also very friendly. A good place to relax for the traveler.

I've been here during my trip through via Francigena.
I fell in love with the door because I really love Lord of the rings and The Hobbit. Then, I felt like home, they were so kind. Here, you have the opportunity to meet people from all around the world 🌍
It's clean and they're clever (like for fans for each bed).
In the kitchen you can have a coffee or the and you can have water. Moreover, you can use the fridge.
In the room you have a wooden box for your own where you can put your stuff (padlock).
Finally, there is a beautiful garden where chilling and other common rooms.
Try it and you will want to come back (like I did during my trip back from Santa Maria di Leuca).

Such a cute hostel in Lecce, would come back just to stay here honestly! The garden area is so lovely to relax in and the vibe overall is super chill w lots of nice people up for a chat staying here. The staff are also super helpful. Everything is very clean and well thought out, including a cosy little well stocked kitchen!

My time at Urban Oasis and in Lecce was perfect! I had a private room which felt even better than a hotel. The people and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The gardens and historic building are really beautiful. I was looking for a safe and quiet place to relax as a solo female traveler and this was absolutely perfect. The hostel also organizes social outings, although I didn't partake it was a nice touch. The environment in the hostel was always peaceful and quiet. I loved Lecce as well, amazing history and incredible beaches nearby. Overall 10/10!

There were many cool common areas. The garden was beautiful and chill.
We were just 3 girls in the room, so it was pretty private.
The toilets were clean and big, and they had soap. Also there was shampoo and conditioner to borrow!
The kitchen was well equipped.
The girl at reception was really helpful.
The location was great, near the train station, the old town and a supermarket.
Good price!
The bad thing is that even though they give you earplugs, it's really noisy at night.

I really liked this hostel. The staff was very friendly and were good in communication. They were very helpful how to travel to and from Lecce with public transport. The beds were comfortable and the hostel is very well dressed with a nice garden and cosy furniture. It has a playful ambiance which enhances visitors to be friendly to each other. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms but each bed has a separate ventilator which worked very well for me.
