Palazzo Console is a beautifully renovated B&B within 5 minutes walk of the old part of Lecce. Small, intimate (only 5 rooms), tastefully furnished and immaculately clean this was our home from home for 5 nights in September. Alberto and his brilliant team made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Alberto in particular went above and beyond by arranging scooter & car hire for us and giving us daily visit & restaurant recommendations. He even got us into a wonderful rooftop bar after we had been told they couldn’t fit us in. A special mention goes to the breakfast which offered so much choice and was of excellent quality. This place is a real gem, you won’t regret it!
This was one of my most pleasant experience I've ever had in a hotel or B&B.

Everything was wonderful. The owner. Alberto, and the staff place a high importance on customer service and it was exceptional. Breakfast was perfect everyday and they have quite a choice with many options to choose from. The rooms and grounds are very clean and comfortable. The only reason I did not give 5 stars to the room is because the bathrooms can be a bit tricky if you are not careful. The floors can get slippery when wet and there’s not real separation from the shower to main area of bathroom. They are beautifully appointed but I do caution to be careful as everything it cement and hard and a slip and fall could be very bad. Other than that, I would recommend the B&B and I would stay there again. Also, Alberto was very helpful with planning day trips in the surrounding areas.
