Palazzo Bignami

Our favourite stay on a recent trip to Puglia. It felt like a home away from home. The hosts, Liana and her husband, are very warm, kind and welcoming. Palazzo Bignami (PB) is located within walking distance to the center of Lecce old town, there is also free street parking if you're driving. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet. We slept so well in there. The entire b&b was created with alot of care and love, including their delicious breakfast spread every morning. Highly recommend staying with Liana if you're visiting Lecce.

We stayed here on the last night of our cycle tour. Wonderful hotel situated just outside the old town walls but only takes a minute to walk to the entrance. Big rooms that were clean and well decorated in a shabby chic fashion with lots of character. Breakfast room was the same and there was a great choice to choose from and was very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay here at Palazzo Bignami! The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the space itself is impeccably decorated. The breakfast was all homemade and phenomenal! Liana and Enzo were amazing hosts. There was also free parking available right outside the hotel which was very convenient. Highly recommend booking a stay here!

Such a special place. Beautiful, warm and welcoming. Have a lovely terrace on the top floor with great views of the city. Centrally located, amazing food, and welcoming hosts – they went out of their way to stay up later for us to arrive because of travel delays. Grateful I would stay here over and over and over again.

We stayed at Palazzo Bignami for six days and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The location is excellent, situated on a quiet street just a few minutes' walk from the city center. Although there is no private parking, public parking nearby was not an issue. The owners are very friendly and do their utmost to satisfy their guests. The B&B is beautifully and tastefully decorated, with lovely and spacious rooms. There is a large rooftop terrace on the top floor. The breakfast buffet is extensive and offers a wide variety of choices. However, there was an extra charge for eggs, which we found a bit unusual. Additionally, there was an extra charge for refreshing the bath linens.

We loved this B&B! The owners are kind and welcoming, including the adorable little dog, Minnie. Located in a pleasant neighborhood near the train station, it is an easy walk to the historical center. The rooms are beautifully decorated, but not fussy or cluttered. The bed and furniture in our suite was especially comfortable and good quality. Many luxury details, like robes, slippers, and bottled water are also provided. The breakfast served was amazing! The spread included a variety of homemade cakes, pies, pastries, yogurt, granola, as well as savory items. Coffee drinks are also made to order. We enjoyed our three-night stay and hated to leave.

Stayed with friends for one night only, a warm welcome from the owner and their dog. Excellent room with unbelievably comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and a lovely terrace.
This B&B was up there with the best places we have stayed, a wonderful place to stay.

This very-lovely place has the trophy for the favourite hotel/B&B during an extended vacation in Italy. The people: fabulous. The place: also outstanding … 5 minute-walk from the train, 5-minute walk to the entrance to the historical centre of Lecce. It’s clean enough that you could eat off the floor, breakfast contains a good selection of whole food and also meat/cheeses (and lots of good baking), the espresso is better than the cafes, and the eating area is open much of the day for snacks, tea, etc. Much attention to detail (superbly comfortable mattresses, for example). 10/10.

Lovely small B&B near old town Lecce. Very quiet and serene. 10 beautiful rooms. Lovely staff. Breakfast is large and tasty. Cappuccino on request. Variety of fruits, cheeses, meats and hot scrambled eggs. Beautiful pastries, yoghurts.

Thanks to Liana, Enzo. A short stay but rich in beauty hospitality. Cleanliness, flavors of a breakfast with the scents of sweets prepared by Liana. What about 10e praise… and very soon.
