We stayed from 16 to 23 August and can only say well. Although slightly outside the center it is still close. In 10 minutes a pleasant walk takes us downtown. Spacious and clean room… the only flaw was the air conditioning too noisy. It would need to be a bit renovated as a hotel but it always remains a nice structure. The friendly staff, the waiters… the maitre Matteo always smiling and helpful. To come back.

We stayed at this hotel from 9 to 14 August and enjoyed it very well. Congratulations to the reception girls in particular Myriam and Daniela. Great breakfast… every morning Puglian pasties and various very good cakes. You can reach the old town of Lecce comfortably on foot. It enjoys a good location to reach the most beautiful seaside resorts of Salento:Porto Cesareo, Bear Tower, Punta ham, Otranto, Gallipoli. Ci we will return very willingly.

5-star hotel. Great location, spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff and always helpful and really great cuisine! Very recommended.

Guests at a dinner party. Great restaurant. The cuisine is sought after and the portions plentiful. We got to taste both "sea" and "land" dishes and was absolutely satisfied with everything. The property is very elegant and perfectly managed. Absolutely recommended.

Quality/price is a good hotel. Near city center of Lecce. The rooms are very comfortable and very large but a bit old style in my opinion. The Wi-Fi network works very well. Breakfast is good.

Professional staff, helpful and extremely courteous and sociable. Larger-than-average rooms, should be modernized, furnishings are very dated, you could better cure the cleanliness. Great restaurant, especially ice cream. Paid parking right next to the hotel entrance, very convenient, with direct access to the hotel. I give 4 stars for great breakfast, great location, functional parking and staff efficiency.

The rooms are large and clean. It is true it is a bit outdated but in this hotel it points to kindness, excellent service and really good food despite the low price. It is never empty and this shows that despite "age" what strikes is the staff always polite, cleanliness and ample spaces that I have to say do. Your pleasure.

Hotel in the center of Lecce, Comodo x its position and the possibility of parking is internal (to pay about 10.00) that outside in the communal blue lines paying the parking (except on Sundays).
Old Hotel but kept well, would need a nice makeover.
Rooms spacious and clean although personally the carpet to me always a sense of non-cleanliness (I repeat personal opinion).
Price: acceptable if on offer. We paid 80.00 on booking.
Staff: polite and polite.
Breakfast: International and very rich… you will quiet the pastries there sonoooo!
Only small flaw cleaning cups, glasses, not great, on many I found lipstick or cups not spotless.
If breakfast arrives a little late you find the tables dirty or clean at best (but always dirty) and this is not nice X a hotel like that.

A 4 star hotel in the years 90… Now nn more than a 3 star… Very dated hotel. The very nice rooms are really large but very age ', still remains the carpet. The bathroom is embarrassing, impossible to imagine in a 4 star. The good notes are the breakfast and the proper service.

The hotel is dated, the rooms are large, the furniture is to be redone a little vecchiotti has a favorable position is located in the center of the city of Lecce so you must be satisfied with the negativity.

A very nice hotel… years 70, surely.

Quite surprising hotel! It must have been a real 4 star luxury but in the years 70. That said if the "Kitch" does not scare you this hotel is very well located and is quite nice.

A 4-star hotel strategically located a quarter of an hour's walk from the historic centre of Lecce, with parking inside. The rooms are very clean and the food is very good. Very recommended.

A four star of the years 70. Nothing on the hall to say as on all the staff working there from the front desk to the waiters and the cleaners. But of the rest the rooms are to be remodeled totally. Starting from the shower curtain that certainly at the origin was white and now of a dirty yellow color, the lamps of the rooms are for the most part not working, dripping noises come from all the fittings. Different furniture from each other and torn and stained sofas. Beds by the way very uncomfortable. And to finish even the carpet on the floor despite being cleaned by the permanent impression of dirt. A four star to review absolutely and for what can look at me two stars are far too many.

The whole structure: furnishings, bathroom tiles, linens, carpets, chandeliers and lighting in general is all dating back to the years ' 70.

The only thing aligned with the 4 stars is the price to say the least exaggerated for what the hotel offers. At much less in Lecce there are hotels of higher level.

Great service and beautiful location…

The Hotel President was the only 4 star hotel in Lecce when our city was not yet known by tourism and hotels had very few. The President was synonymous with elegance and comfort. Of those times maintains the sophistication of the hall. We were in the restaurant and we really enjoyed the ambience, the service and the dishes: simple and tasty. Delicious dessert.

The hotel is from the 1970ies and has not lost any of its charm from that time. The rooms are very spacious and connected to the neighboring room with a door. You might hear the other guests talking to each other. The breakfast is ok, but not a western buffet with ham and scrumbled eggs. The staff is friendly and speaks English.

Very nice hotel right downtown. Expedia messed up my reservation at another hotel, but two nice gentlemen at the President front desk let nw have a room at the last minute. They have an underground parking garage, very good Wi-Fi, and great breakfast. I had not visited Italy since 1997 (used to spend our summers in Bibione), and it was really nice to see it again. Pizza prosciutto tastes exactly the same! Love friendly Italy!

Very spacious and clean Hotel. A bit outdated the furniture, reminded me of the hotels in the former USSR. But I repeat veeeeery wide and clean. The food was great and the breakfast was very good. Good Hotel.

Pessimist Absolute Hotel Not worthy of the name it brings. There is no hobby room, no gym, there is nothing to spend time. The rooms are style years 70 with old and creaked furniture. Comets also being very large with the possibility of sleeping in three people are poorly comfortable and is never delivered the second key since the concierge is unawares. Staff at the reception little available to the needs of the special clientele at night time. Restaurant with cylindrical tables that wobsh since old and worn. Food you average quality costs as the service. All in all the worst hotel in Lecce. Not advice absolutely especially for those who should stay with children.

The hotel is okay but far from great. The receptionist was quite unfriendly, the garage full. The room was spacious, but could be cleaner and more functional. The garage was full and it took a while to persuade the staff to accommodate our car.

The bathroom was aufull! There were ants in the shower. If many people living in the same floor decide to have a bath at the same time, you didn't have enough water or it was either too hot or too cold. The room is not secure enough. The lock of the door is not stable enough.

Pros: It's close to downtown and the room looks clean. The staff is friendly. Cons: The bath facility is terrible, if many people decide to have shower at once there is water shortage. Moreover, there were ants in the bathroom.

Basic hotel. Clean. Good location. Has everything you need. However they do not provide irons.

Spacious rooms and helpful courteous staff. Underground parking at 10 euros but we parked opposite for less as was Sunday and no street charges. Rooms are not modern, but are clean, comfortable and in working order. Recommend.

Hotel in the very central area of Lecce (a 5-minute walk from Piazza Sant'Oronzo), with large, clean, welcoming rooms. Very helpful, hospitable and friendly staff. Great cuisine tradition salentina that tourists appreciate very much. High value for money.
When I'm at the President's for work, I feel at home, in my family.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel in May 2016. The decor is unchanged since the 1970s. The walls are paper thin and the window shutters very noisy. The breakfast service was truly terrible and no iron available at reception.

I really recommend this hotel: Rooms are very large. Breakfast is a good continental breakfast. Service is excellent, both at reception and restaurant. They make everything they can to please their customers. There is a garage in the hotel. All this for an average of 80€ per room for 2 persons (breakfast included) boooked through internet. Even if from the 60s, (as you would see from the external facade) this hotel has been well restaurated internally. It is really not far from the historical center, ie not more than 10 minutes walking and really nice walk. The best price for quality we had in the Puglia over our stay in Dec 08 — Jan 09.
