I spent two weeks in perfect comfort in January 2022 at Corte Barocca. Sandra is an excellent host who responds promptly to questions and requests. The B&B is very clean, tastefully furnished and with excellent amenities (like a Lavazza coffee machine and milk foamer). The location is quiet, safe, in the historic center close to the Basilica di Santa Croce and all that Lecce has to offer.
I have just spent 3 days exploring beautiful Lecce. Staying at Corte Barocca was absolutely ideal for me. Sandra, the proprietor, is very welcoming and super helpful. She helped me organise my journey back to the airport, ensured my bag was taken up and down to the room (it was too heavy for me) and supplied a handy map with key locations marked out. The B&B is located in a pretty little courtyard just a few minutes’ walk from the centre, which makes sightseeing and enjoying the ancient centro storico very easy and accessible.
The room itself was quite spacious, with tall windows, and had a small fridge (with complementary juices, water and fruit) as well as a pod coffee machine with a supply of pods. The bathroom was well fitted out and everything was spotlessly clean. Best of all was the lovely flowery roof terrace overlooking the rooftops and the bell tower, where guests help themselves from the terrace fridge and cupboard to breakfast (pastries, cheese, ham etc), and can make tea or coffee using the pod coffee machine provided.
Some visitors might need to know that some rooms are up a couple of flights of stairs (as said, I needed Sandra’s help with my case — but she was very accommodating about that in spite of my early morning departure).

Inside the oldtown, you can walk from the house each point of Lecce, great location. The room was clean. The house owner was very helpful and warm. She suggested us where to eat where to swim. There is also nice and cute terras on the top. If I will come here for sure, I will stay here again.
