Attico Barocco

Giani was welcoming and helpful. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The view from our bedroom was amazing!

I have to recommend that you stay at Attico Barocco in Lecce which is owned and operated by Gianni.   It is ideally located in the heart of Lecce, first class is every respect, and very well managed.
Talk about going above and beyond. When we arrived, we needed to use a laundromat.   We chose one with high ratings and so we walked the several blocks to get to it. We get there only to discover that we could not get euro coins from our paper ones (machine was out).   I walked a few blocks to a commercial street, went from shop to shop, but no one would exchange my paper for coins. I called Gianni for help. He jumped on his bicycle and rode over to the laundromat and provided us just enough coins for us to wash and dry our clothes.
Furthermore, he recently has been instrumental in an effort to connect me and a friend to Maestro Guiseppe Afrune whose painting of St. Carlo Acutis is displayed in Basilica de Santa Croce. She wants to get a reproduction for the shrine she leads that is dedicated to him at the Malvern Retreat House.   Also, Gianni owns another property and is about to add a third to his service.

What a perfect place in a stunning location in the centre — we had a good sized room with lovely bathroom and a large balcony overlooking the chiesa Santa Croce — wonderful! Gianni the host/owner was exceptional — so solicitous after our wellbeing and providing so much information to enhance our stay. Don’t hesitate to — book this special place!

Our stay at Attica Barocco was wonderful. The B&B is situated in a beautiful building in the old town — everything is within walking distance. The terraces look out on the beautiful baroque cathedral. The rooms are impeccably clean, roomy and stylishly decorated. Best of all is Gianni who runs the b&b. He gave us great recommendations for dinners and lunches. We actually contacted him after we checked out and were in the west coast ofGallipoli. He was quick to give us a suggestion for lunch! Amazing service! I highly recommend this b&b!

What a find! Beautiful, comfortable bedrooms and baths AND a gorgeous outdoor deck with views of the city! Fabulous! Gianni is the BEST host suggesting restaurants, day trips, and wine bars. Comfortable, very convenient and highly recommended!

Excellent location in Lecce. Everything here is first-class, from the little common area to the balcony, supply of free snacks and tea, modern bathrooms etc. The caffe next door is great for breakfast. Gianni is an excellent manager — always helpful. With hotter weather now extending into October, it would have been more comfortable had the AC not been turned off for the season — something for the owners to consider for next year.

Gianni is very responsive and is truly your personal concierge with deep roots and local knowledge of the area. My partner had a small medical issue and he quickly resolved. This boutique hotel is perfect location for exploring the historic center. Elevator to the fourth floor. The loggia (balcony) is lovely for coffee and evening drinks.

Eight of us took all four rooms at this B&B. One floor to ourselves that included a kitchen, deck and large living room. Owners were great hosts and super welcoming.
Rooms are modern and chic. Bathrooms are unique and spacious.
Safe and secure fourth floor location is in the historical center, with quick access to everything Lecce.
I don't remember how I found this B&B. But are all happy about it!

Gianni was an amazing host, you can see he really cares about the property and the guests. The terrace is just amazing, with a wonderfull view, perfect for enjoying coffee or glass of wine. Room was clean and comfortable with daily change of sheets and towels. Very central location yet still quiet at night. We felt like at home, definitely recommend.

You cannot get a better location than this B&B in the beautiful centro storico of Lecce! Francesca and her mother are lovely hosts who will make your stay so welcoming! Francesca communicated throughout our stay and was always available to answer any questions/clarifications that we had. The rooms were spotless with nice decor and great attention to detail. Everyday you place an order for breakfast in a checklist order form provided and you have the option of eating in the central table indoors or one of the balcony tables overlooking the historic center and the crown of the jewel, the 17th century baroque Santa Croce basilica! We had a small room, however, there were some large spacious rooms with a large stretch of balcony with views toward the old town.
The best part of your stay will definitely be the comfort, excellent location, and above all, the service and warmth of the lovely hosts!

We stayed for two days in qst b & b being passing through and we immediately felt at home for the warmth and hospitality of Francesca and her parents. From their eyes transpires the goodness of soul and love for others that associated with a beautiful room and a breathtaking view becomes a perfect combination x an unforgettable stay.
