The location is considered strategic, as many interesting sites in Greater Salento, including Castro and Santa Cesarea Terme, can be reached within 30 minutes. The hotel is situated only two minutes from Castro Marina. However, one guest noted that the location feels somewhat isolated, and reaching certain points, such as Poggiardo, is difficult without a car due to the lack of taxis.

We booked this hotel thinking it was close to a wedding that was being held in Poggiardo… we were very wrong. Despite it being only an 8 minute drive it is impossible to get a taxi around here and the walk is over an hour long anyway, there is only 1 bar in Diso. When we arrived a lovely boy checked us in who really tried to help us with speaking English, the rest of the staff didn’t even want to look at us and we never saw him again. Christian was lovely and helped driving us to the beach as there was no other way around but when the owner found out she wouldn’t let him drive us anymore and we were stuck stranded. We asked to book a taxi the morning of the wedding and they were extremely rude and charged us €80 for a 6 minute drive. Absolutely ridiculous. The rooms were nice enough and the pool was good. The jacuzzi is not a hot tub it’s colder than the pool, the plastic is peeling too and leaves you with blue paint everywhere. Breakfast is a joke, they offer cappuccinos, juice and a croissant that’s about it. It’s advertised as having a bar — this is a big fat lie, once breakfast closes everyone working here disappears reception is locked all day and there’s no one to ask questions or anything. The shower is a joke, im quite skinny and I could hardly fit through the door and there was no room to move or anything. Getting to and from the airport is another joke €300+ for a taxi. Overall it was decent but definitely not worth the good reviews I’ve seen or the money.

I can only give a positive review for this b&b. Nice and clean place, really welcoming and also equipped with a panoramic lift to access the upper floors. Beautiful swimming pool and hydromassage… essential for a few hours of healthy relaxation. Located in an area that allowed us to reach enchanting places in a short time in just one weekend.
Definitely recommended 👍
