The whole experience was very positive. The room was exceptional, top quality materials, very clean and well maintained. The house is really wonderful, peaceful and a real paradise for rest. The best host Luka (I called him Jean Luca Pagluica:) was very kind, responsive and ready to help at every step. The best host I have met in the last 10 years compared to vacations in Croatia.

I travel to Puglia every summer & am very familiar with the fabulous beaches, gastronomy & the many interesting & historical towns. This fabulous bed & breakfast will, with complete affirmation, be my go-to place to stay for all my future travels while in Puglia. I was incredibly impressed with the room, the modern decor, the rooftop & the excellent service provided all around. A special thank you to Angelo for going above & beyond taking care of securing a boat excursion in Castro Marina, beach & restaurant reservations. Thank you also to Ingrid, Riccardo & Davide for your friendliness and warmth & for being so helpful with everything! It is rare to see a staff so forward in helping their guests with anything they need & to offer suggestions to explore this beautiful part of Puglia. As other reviewers have correctly noted, this is beyond a 5 star lodging. It exceeded all my expectations. Acquaviva Suites is optimally located to visit the many gorgeous beaches on either coast (short drives) & the lovely Castro Marina. Breakfasts offered a variety of local pastries.

There was cn my husband a week ago… Wonderful romantic place and very very welcoming I highly recommend it to those who want to spend moments of true relaxation and above all in total tranquility … The room is beautiful and perfect in every detail. All very much. Romantic. Also the wonderful and welcoming staff… You feel pampered in everything… We will definitely be back but I recommend it to everyone… Thanks to Mr. Angelo for all this…

From the time we arrived in this quiet little town of Marittima and checked into this beautiful little luxury hotel till the time we left 3 days later our stay was amazing. Our hosts and staff provided top notch service. If you’ve never been to Puglia this is a great place to base and visit all the great beach towns on both coasts. You can walk to great food in the small town. Let your hosts suggest beach’s, restaurants, boat rides, they are full service and very accommodating. Angelo went out of his way to give us a personal tour of the local beaches. Our host went above and beyond making our first trip to Puglia amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the outdoor area is comfortable with a spa like setting. After a busy day of touring the area, it was a pleasure to return to Aquaviva to relax and enjoy the pool and watch sunset from beautiful rooftop.

Angel exquisite person who pampers you and reserves you attention from the first moment you arrive.
Words are not enough to describe the beauty, comfort and attention to detail of this accommodation. Fine furnishings, minibar equipped with everything and more, super comfortable bed with pillows of various softness, cover bathroom, emotional shower. Outside stands out the beautiful and comfortable swimming pool, the sun loungers and the flowery and well-kept garden with various sofas and tables where you can relax!
As soon as you arrive Angelo dispenses advice and tips on the most beautiful places to visit.
All really super! We will definitely be back.

The care of the furnishings and details makes all the difference. The hot tub on the terrace a real treat. The welcome, the professionalism of the owners is unique. For those looking for a holiday in absolute relaxation is absolutely to try.

All hotels should take note of how to treat your guests exactly like they do at Acquaviva. This is a small beautiful boutique hotel, very cool and modern – if it was in Ibiza it would cost a fortune to stay here. The beds are huge and comfy, the bedrooms are very spacious, high ceilings and tastefully decorated – lots of toiletries, big fluffy towels and robes, slippers etc. The pool area is small-ish but perfect for this hotel – very clean and pretty pool with music if you want it, plenty of sun loungers and a cabana bed which we were lucky enough to have for the duration of our stay. There is also a roof terrace with a huge jacuzzi and great views, you can also request to have drinks and snacks up there. The owner/manager (Angelo) ferried us around as we didn’t have a car, and he also got his staff (Lucio) to take us to restaurants of their recommendation and a club in the evening – just outstanding levels of service. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice (Italian) and really delicious. The owner also brought us snacks/drinks on request throughout the time we were by the pool and the food was fabulous. My only regret is not staying longer – I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we were going to that area. One of my all time favourite hotels, cannot say enough nice things about it – just go and stay, but definitely hire a car.
