B&B Posta Piana in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is B&B Posta Piana located, and what is the surrounding atmosphere like?

The property is located in the open countryside between Canosa di Puglia and Cerignola. Guests describe the setting as intriguing, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, where one can enjoy the sounds of the countryside and swallows flying overhead. However, some visitors noted that rooms facing the road can be noisy, and the proximity to vineyards may cause inconvenience due to the strong odor of chemical treatments applied early in the morning.

Is parking available at the property?

Yes, convenient parking is provided for guests at the property.

How is the staff and customer service at B&B Posta Piana?

Most guests speak very highly of the host, Concetta, describing her as exceptionally kind, professional, welcoming, and possessing a great sense of humor. She goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home and shows great flexibility, such as accommodating early check-ins. However, one review mentioned an unusual practice of retaining guest identity documents throughout the stay, which led to them being lost in the mail when sent afterward.

What kind of breakfast is offered at the property?

Breakfast is delivered to the room and consists of pre-packaged items. It typically includes packaged croissants, crispbreads, and small jars of jam. Opinions on the quality are divided: some guests find it adequate, while others describe it as very sparse and poor in quality. It was also noted that some rooms lack a table and chairs for dining.

What can be said about room cleanliness and housekeeping?

Many guests praise the cleanliness, describing the rooms as very tidy and pleasant-smelling. However, there are also negative reviews: one visitor reported that during a four-night stay, housekeeping was provided only once, and towels were never changed. It was also mentioned that access to the bathroom in some cases is via a shared corridor.

Does B&B Posta Piana have a swimming pool, and what amenities does it offer?

The swimming pool is one of the property's main highlights, described as gorgeous, clean, and well-maintained. Guests enjoy spending time there with sunset drinks, as well as making use of the hammocks and tables in the garden. Nevertheless, one guest complained about noise from the host renting the pool out to outside groups not staying at the property. The presence of flies around the pool area was also mentioned.

How comfortable are the rooms and the overall grounds?

The building is a tastefully restored country house with a cozy atmosphere. Rooms are characterized as comfortable and clean. Among the downsides noted are stairs that may be inconvenient, as well as pool grounds that some guests felt were insufficiently maintained.

What is the overall atmosphere of the property, and is it suitable for a relaxing stay?

Overall, B&B Posta Piana is positioned as a place for complete relaxation and seclusion—a "hideaway from the world." Most guests confirm that peace and quiet prevail. However, potential disturbances should be kept in mind, such as the host's dog barking early in the morning or noise from outside visitors using the pool in the evening.
