B&B Le Ferule Bed and Breakfast

We have been two weeks in this wonderful B&B with our family and our expectations have been exceeded. Not only that the whole appartement is equipped with most lovely furniture and accessories but also that everything was just perfect. The B&B is perfectly clean, the air condition — which is most important in Summer — worked without problems and the kitchen we took our breakfast in is breathtaking. I could not stop admiring the thoughtful and beautiful work Elisabetta took in any tiny aspect of a wonderful accomodation. Not to forget that Elisabetta filled the fridge with italian food for breakfast and then also prepared italian desserts for us. It was a pleasure to have spent our holidays in this special place and to have met Elisabetta Mondo. If there were more stars, I would have given them. So we can only highly recommend this B&B and certainly will come back.

B&b The Pigeon is a charming place in the heart of Manfredonia. This is undeniable. But perhaps not everyone knows that it is also a Home Restaurant, where the vibrant Elizabeth receives the guests with an innate the art of receiving. Choose the ingredients with her and then to see them in the dish in the recipes of the tradition, but in version creative, it is a surprise that emotions are the eyes and the palate. Elizabeth, who has cooked in front of our eyes, has delighted us so: Mise en bouche with mozzarella di bufala and tomato sauce; Tart turnip greens with crickets in the oven; Orecchiette with turnip tops and clams; oven-baked Turbot, and, dulcis in fundo, hazelnut chocolate Cream made in front of my eyes dipped in a sweet cream with cardamom, with the accompaniment of exquisite chatter. Rosé organic by the same verve of the lady of the house. I will return with great pleasure. I don't know when, but I'm sure that will become my obligatory stop every time roots and I return to Manfredonia!

The great food and the atmosphere magical prowess is matched only by the friendliness and hospitality of the mistress of the house, as well as unexpected chef Elizabeth! Highly recommended.

Never thought I would find American BBQ in Italy. But I did. Felix was spot on with the pork ribs, Chicken, Pull pork and sausage. Very smoky flavor, not over powering, the ribs were falling off the bone. And his homemade BBQ sauce, yes. Everything I had was excellent. Thanks Felix and Elizabeth for a great meal. I will for sure visit you again.

"I spent one night in the Ferules on a bike trip and was impressed by the atmosphere of the rooms, furnished with a unique taste. Everything is harmonious and elegant, starting from the staircase to climb to the first floor. Breakfast then was super! Elisabetta is an exquisite hostess and knows how to put her guests at ease.
