A magical place. Crossing the gate seems to go back in time. Every detail, every color, and sound returns a feeling of well-being and relaxation. Nothing is left to chance and every room is furnished with delicacy and taste. I congratulate you in particular for the professionalism and kindness of the staff, always smiling and ready to satisfy every need. Breakfast top. GIi environments with free access to the SPA are a bit small with the exception of the indoor swimming pool is really nice but no tub. It is love at first sight, I would never have gone away!

A dream with open eyes! A charming location with friendly and professional staff, we serve you in every detail. Clean rooms and spacious, furnished with taste typical of the place. Dinner and breakfast at the top. The spa, however, offers no tub nor cervical waterfalls in the swimming pool, but there is a path that on the floor below and is accessed only by paying further. But all the rest of it enchants you and makes you want to stay there!

Possibly, architecturally, the most amazing hotel I know of. It is incredible what has been achieved. But I can only give it 4/5. The food is adequate rather than good. Suitable music is played at apertivo time in the lounge bar, but far too loud. And there’s an odd incense-like smell in the upper level common areas that exacerbated my wife’s asthma. But it really is an amazing hotel, overall.

Here you can breathe Puglia. In the alleys, in the white stone that reflects the sun, in kindness and hospitality and food. Late in the evening, in soft and evocative lights, in scents and elegance. It's one of those places you can't forget, where you feel so at home that you come back with joy.

A unique experience, perfect in everything, especially so much relaxation. Super recommended though a bit expensive but worth it. SPA beautiful and super efficient. Restaurant of all kinds but always great. Beautiful then the parties at the Borgo.

Exclusive environment (perhaps too). At the Gourmet Restaurant excellent tasting menu. Original proposal to eat the meal in the kitchen. Professional and friendly staff. Good and available different cooks. The chef is very nice. Improve the refill on the wine. Very good.

Just sensational, we were there for a week, everything just fit. Class kitchen, great service, very nice rooms. Also the golf course right in front of the hotel is nice to play, but not easy due to the wind from the sea. Overall one of the most beautiful stays of recent times, the hotel is highly recommended in every respect.

Beautiful spacious hotel, quality breakfast, and excellent service. There are some details that don’t make it top luxury: too big (lacks boutique feel), slow Wi-Fi, bathroom products ok (and no conditionner, only shampoo), no welcome drink, food average for Italy, and no available chairs at pool. Overall is more premium in price than in experience (compared to other luxury hotels in Italy).

I am already wondering when we can return to this magnificent hotel. I found it the most comfortable, and welcoming hotel I have ever stayed. Aurelia could not have been more accommodating. I due camini is well worth a visit, a true dining experience. The kids club was amazing, my son went every single day through choice and had a brilliant night of games with Rosanna, one of their babysitters. Anyone looking for a truly relaxing and special holiday with or without kids should consider this wonderful place.

One of the best hotels I stayed at. We’ve been 4-5 times and it just gets better and better. It’s very peaceful and quiet and staff cater to your every need.

Phenomenal villa, grounds and pool. The breakfast buffet was the most overwhelming, decadent spread I've ever seen at a resort. I only spent 2 days before heading to the Amalfi coast but the staff were wonderful and the group of 15 I travelled with had a ball!

Just arrived back in UK after a week here with my wife and daughter. What a fantastic place to stay. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. I'm still amazed at all the fresh produce this region produces. Nothing was too much trouble even suggesting and booking meals for us. This really is laid back luxury with a personal touch. We all loved it and booking next year. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Borgo Egnazia is certainly among the most renowned Puglia resorts in the world, the structure is splendid and has been meticulously built to remember the Puglia tradition in every single detail.
Among the things that I most appreciate about this place is certainly the food, that joins the local tradition to a modern kitchen and rich of very particular mixtures.
I personally believe that this place should be an example for all other structures, not only in Puglia, for how they succeeded in a few years to become an absolutely cult place for tourists from all over the world.

Not that I do not think the Borgo was not worth the stay, just felt the price was exorbitant (the price of the hotel seemed to be necessary to pay for the stylists — there were thousands of candles everywhere at night that would require lighting, even in the least accessed hallways, etc. ). It's easy to get lost in the maze of villas, and feels inauthentic in a way (they mirrored an Italian town). When compared to a Masseria nearby that was 1/4 of the cost, I would say the stay is not worth the price. The help could be good, but again, a little over the top (there seemed to be an excess of staff, like a greeter at breakfast when I could choose my own table). The villas seemed to be amazing, with their own personal help (had friends who stayed here and loved it).

The architect has created a timeless village, extremely charming and elegant, immersed in the countryside of Egnazia. The apartments are exquisitely furnished with a skilful use of the stone and the typical Apulian fabrics. Staff and services impeccable. Outstanding Restaurant.

We just came back from 5 days. + Beautiful hotel. Very attentive staff-especially Viviana who helped arrange dinner reservations, tips for local exploring etc. Breakfast great. — Expensive food especially as average quality. Only two restaurants open in low season and one mainly served pizza! Charge 25 Euros for 2 bicycles to explore the hotel grounds for half day! Housekeeping had no regard for guests — came when it suited them. There are MANY better places to visit.

It is a village all of beautiful stone in its simplicity typical of the Apulian culture to exalt the old traditions making it a modern cultural model. Great and luxurious, the staff is helpful and friendly does everything to suit every need.

Too overpriced, overated and so many guests at the time were complaining about various things from oversights, overcharges, extras, bad airport pick up service and various not mentioned in all reviews. Yes, it smells great but rooms are missing basic essentials like tea and coffee facilities, poor Wi-Fi and TV connection. Just too hyped up and easy to get lost and disconnected from nature in the maze of stone and cleaning buggies. Sometimes unsettling the feeling of being too polished to the extremity of rustic. How dare they charge for bike hires and use off toy carts in top of an already exorbitant rate? Not particularly adaptable to personal needs at times either such as local information or food adaptations…

The big farm 5-star hotel, where the objective is to make the guest feel to really ease, as at home, in fact pampered like never before. Excellent food despite the amount of people to serve. The beautiful and the SPA Vair, a unique experience, to try, which you rebuild. Exceptional girls for performance and availability. That is to say, apart from the price, a must to experience.

When I saw in the various magazines this famous village, I immediately wanted to try this experience full of high expectations. The result? Try. It is a magical experience that only those who live it can adequately describe. From the structure to the rooms, from catering to staff… nothing to say except to recommend it highly! Lovely place. Excellently kept. Everything is cared for and kept in the best way. The atmosphere is suggestive. Noteworthy is the effort of giving architecture a semblance of native indigenous style. The choice of materials, the care with which they are used make the village authentic. Excellent service and staff. We stayed in the villa. Very nice and very big we had pool and citrus Grove. Excellent and cured the interiors. Extreme cleanliness. The prices are high. To treat the restaurant, I expected a level of cuisine equal to the beauty and the prices of the place but I was disappointed.

It's the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. A wonderful village, built from the ground up with the criteria of the past, using only the raw materials of the place and with a furnishing and attention to detail that has no equal. The characteristic of those who manage this place is the understanding that the real luxury today is not in the pomp, but in taking care of the person, respecting the privacy and offering services at high level, all in the utmost confidentiality. One more point to be able to bring out the beauty from such simple materials, from Puglia I can only be proud of it.

We were five people and had a villa. Really highly recommended all round. Here you pay attention not only to the rumming well-being of the guest, but also to the many small details that make things special.

The most beautiful hotel. Staff were extremely tentative and friendly, food was superb and the hotel itself was perfectly kept. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone — families, couples, groups and singles as everyone is made to feel welcome. Cannot wait to return.

Gorgeous hotel, a great golf course, beach club with golf cart shuttle, classic car rental, that eat is tip top! One lives there like a young Roman would say Falco:)

Indescribable place. It seems to be in another world… experience to recommend… but mostly to redo!

Haven't stayed here yet but looks very impressive on a walkaround. Beach club is underwhelming but I think most people come here to stay in the resort and the pools are excellent.

To be one of the most famous places to stay does not live up to the expectations.

Virtually a small village, purpose built but in a local style, set on it's own extensive land. Good range of restaurants that would suit families as well as those travelling as a couple. A good 18 hole golf course is in between the main accommodation areas and the beach. They use regular shuttles to ferry people to the grass area and good fish restaurant that opens on to the sea. Wonderful area of Puglia to explore on trips out.

Really a top place. Been here few times for dining and it had always been just great. Impeccable service and super nice location. Keep it up.

Beautiful grounds. Great service. You get your own concierge with a cell to call at any time. Good but small rooms. Double room is 2 twin beds that are touching each other. 1st floor rooms are very dark, like having a basement room. Bathroom is terrible. Not 1 inch to put your toiletries, showerhead barely comes out of the wall so you have to push yourself against the wall to get wet. Hotel nickel & dimes you for everything. €65 to 'rent' the tennis court. €40 to rent a bike, etc. For $1000/night they can't give you water in the room? They have to charge you €5 /bottle?

Excellent hotel and villas with a nice pool. Food service can be quite slow but if you want a good dinner the local townn is just a short bike ride away.

Don't would the best words to describe this corner of heaven on earth. Impeccable service, dream rooms, precautions in every where! Excellent dining and unsurpassed breakfast. The SPA staff and treatments regenerate body and spirit. My compliments to Mr. Carmine of the SPA who has been able to advise me and guide me in the choice of treatment but above all welcomed us and made you feel at home right away. Energy and positivity in this corner of Puglia.

A palace in the desert. Its very tranquil and serene. Stayed here for a week for a work retreat. Everything about the stay here was positive. The location is fairly isolated, so night life is a challenge to find and a little drive from the property. Definitely will return again.

I was fortunate to work twice in this very luxurious resort. In practice it was recreated a village where there are different types of rooms and apartments. In the village there are lots of activities and many beautiful pools, I think a week at this place is really relaxing …

Enchanting place, isolated like an oasis where you find a path to another world like a fable with all the necessary you need to relax and enjoy yourself. You enter by the main gates and it brings you at the entrance of this astonishing building, memories of an ancient town lost somewhere in the pharaonic years. The rooms are little houses build with an local tuff stone likewise all the intern bathroom included, it's spectacular and very cosy. Staff is very helpful and kind, the service is very high standard, very clean and taken care off. It has his price but to recommend without a doubt.

We were here with our 2 young kids and Borgo Egnazia made our holiday just perfect. The resort managed to be world class on service and quality yet retain complete charm & local Apulian personality. It was perfect for us both as a convenient base from which to explore Puglia (which has a lot to offer), as well as for lazy days when we just want to stay in and relax. The kids club was one of the best both in terms of environment, space and staff. There is plenty to do if you want to (cycling, tennis, several pools indoor/ outdoors, picnic by the beach or farm lands, golf, spa etc etc) Or just relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds and architecture plus impeccable service. They do a pretty good job segregating the kids vs grownups (e. G. Separate pool / restaurants, separate hours) so I imagine it's a pretty good experience too for guests who prefer their vacation free of noisy kids. We highly recommend and would love to come back!
