We had to wait for our table for a bit but we were informed on that at arrival. The food is absolutely delicious. Too much for the three of us even. I definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Bari.

Very nice place, fair prices and good food. But the mousse we ordered was frozen, water and bread arrived late. Recommended but not for late evening.

Disappointed. Some terrine and a taste of first rice potatoes and mussels for other rice very but very hot. Pay in 2 48 euros… Exaggerated. I won't be back.

This is Italy at its very best. A picture perfect 'natural' place run by people of an authenticity even hard to find in Puglia. The attentive waiter took us through a luscious journey of local delicacies. Topped with a wonderful Puglian wine. The price tag shocked us. In a good way. 60 Euro for two. Must be among the best price-quality meals anywhere in Europe. Thanks for the great evening guys!

If you want to feel the real local food of Bari, this is the place you should visit. Just wonderful, I recommend the entrance to ricotta and of course the wine of the house.

Typical restaurant in Bari Vecchia where you can taste the typical cuisine of Barese with a wide selection of dairy products from the buttered to the ricotta. The selection of appetizers is very rich. Very friendly staff.

Nice room, minimalistic equipment, traditional menu, reasonable prices. You will not find dishes, except some roast, but especially typical local appetizers including dairy products and the head of Martina Franca. The staff is nice but the change cutlery to the new range should be done. In my opinion you should be daring a little bit in inventiveness. Three stars for stimulus, with the promise to return.

Had my doubts as the menu was all in Italian so you are at the mercy of the staff when it comes to choosing and my experiences in Italy tells me that will not be good as they try to make as much money as they can. But not here on this visit. We ate and drank local at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Small restaurant with a minimalist vocation. Mainly vegetable food well cooked. Small spaces, friendly staff and great location in Old town. It's not suitable for fast water.

Very quaint Local. Short break in Bari. Found this place in Bari Vecchia Couldn't get any better. Fresh and genuine Food. Typical and abundant Appetizers. Also Took a second dish Xche ordered but. Nice place, although quite busy, friendly staff (we were able to sit on Sundays at lunch while not having booked) and good service. The menu consists of traditional Barese dishes, the choice is quite wide. Good, but overall nothing great. We expected the soup of legumes and cereals to be rich in both legumes and cereals, but it consisted only of black chickpeas. Reasonably priced in the norm.

Very large selection of fresh and local products. The waiter picked some local specialties for us so we could try a bit of everything, and it turned out to be amazing. From the burrata or bresaola, to more elaborate dishes like rice with mussels, everything was fresh and tasty. Many people were waiting so it is better to call and make a reservation.

Great food. We let the hosts give us their recommended local dishes as we couldn't read the Italian menu. Everything was great, and it came to €60 with wine for two.

Excellent food! The service was great: they came up with a super tasty menu when we proved ourselves uncapable of reading the menu, fully in Italian. Warm and cosy place, one of our best experiences in Bari :)
