I had a great stay at Hotel San Nicola in Altamura. The staff were really welcoming, friendly, and professional. The location is right in the center, so it’s easy to get around and see the city.

The Hotel is 4 stars, very cosy and elegant. We had to park outside the historical area and walk through the cobbled streets with the bags.
We were specifically touched by a Mr. Mario working there.

B&B in a strategic position to reach the center on foot. Quiet and well-served residential area, with reasonable parking possibilities. Spacious, clean and well furnished room.

It has been a nice place in the middle of the countryside, a large area actually divided into two buildings.

I was looking for a quiet place near Altamura, and I found randomly the Masseria Chinunno website. I was so impressed by the beautiful surroundings that I decided to book a room. This place is magic.

The location is ideal, exactly in the heart of the old town, so you can get there on foot with ease. A friendly greeting and a clean, well-kept facility. The room was spacious and bright.

If you are a light sleeper, make sure to ask for a room in the side street or higher floor. The main street can be noisy. Anything else was just perfect and makes up for the less isolating windows.

Positive: This is truly a great place to stay in Altamura — centrally located, very comfortable bedrooms and a lovely host that truly cares about his guests.
