Great restaurant and a big thank you to the managers who helped me find a really nice room for a night after a serious problem I suffered with an overnight stay not confirmed by the owner of the B & B.

The inn on the lake is really nice, the service is super, the waiters are really courteous and kind, the food is great.

Very very good everything. I will never forget tiramisu again. Very kind. Fair prices.

Beautiful place… from the staff to the food… between lunch and dinner I don't know which was the best … sheep salami never eaten… here we go again…

Just perfect! Two rewarding and relaxing weeks. Comfortable location, extraordinary kitchen and a truly exquisite welcome from both the owners and the staff. All inserted in the context of a region, to say the least, wonderful!

The starter of the house is fabulous, rich and delicious. Chef Simone knows how to prepare great dishes with products at km O. The waiter Danilo, very professional and prepared knows well to recommend the right liquor to accompany the chosen dessert.

One of the best places on earth to improve the world over a glas of wine, to solve ethic problems over a glas of limoncello, to discuss politics beside the fireplace, to observe 'stars' both in and above the nice garden, to meet nice people, to enjoy dinner, to make Italy great again.

The place is very nice, the kitchen is good… the only flaw, in my opinion, the portions are not plentiful and the price, to be an inn, is a bit high.

We called in for a beer and to use the Wi-Fi, so we could look for a place to stay. We stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast. Great hospitality, fantastic cooking from a passionate chef, good english spoken to help us understand the regional menu. The room was fantastic and the breakfast really good.

Great food here with the emphasis on ‘local’, our waiter, Danilo, was brilliant, enthusiastic about the fresh ingredients used and knowledgable about food generally.

We stayed with the children during the passage of the Giro d'italia, qualified and helpful staff with the frame of the lake on the edge of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Santo Stefano di Sessanio.

We were guests of the restaurant. Very friendly place, run by very friendly staff. You can consume traditional dishes of Abruzzo cooked very well. Interesting is the appetizer of the house, with selection of salami and local cheeses, accompanied by other hot dishes. Good the first, yummy the rabbit. Fair prices.

Tasty food, a place immersed in nature and welcoming. The qualified staff. Try the soups.

Cute, warm, cozy. Great starter and as it was presented, less great my first (malcut with cabbage and sausage). I would have preferred the green cabbage that cooked makes it much better than the white cabbage suitable for salads and that it was a little drier. Still good!

Typical Abruzzo dishes and products… Quality raw material. Great selection of local craft beers and wines.

Very pleasant. With an extra effort especially on the kitchen and some detail in the rooms would be TOP.

Excellent Lunch based on local products, very professional staff and fast service, cheap prices.

Also Used for wedding banquets. Run by a group of very willing and capable young people. Genuine Food with traditional recipes but revisited effectively to make you like to every kind of guest. Being located in the spring and summer Mountains are the best seasons for a visit.

I am surprised by the reviews of 5 star, dated and furnished structure with the advanced one from home. The only waiter very helpful, does what he can but the wait between one course and the other also of the simple appetizer is long. To Dine we entered at 20 and exited at 22 about. The quality of the meat leaves a lot to be desired ours had a smell of old and the side heating also bad. Attention then that in the room there is no air change, when you leave the hall you will find that you have a very unpleasant smell of cooking on your clothes.

This review is just for the restaurant and not for the b&b. We had dinner here and they were told that one of us was vegetarian. They accommodated this very well including the chef's complimentary starter. Service was very good and food was also decent. Gnocchi was not as good but they made it was vegetarian sauce instead of ragu. Their tiramisu was very nice and so was the tea. All in all worth a visit for dinner if your are in sextantio area.

I loved this B&B, it was perfect! My family and I got two rooms here. They were spacious, clean, and the shower actually closed and didn't leak water everywhere (rare in Europe). It's surrounded by the mountains and was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. We needed to check out before breakfast started on our last day so they put it out 30 minutes earlier than usual-much appreciated! We ate at the hotel restaurant on our last night and it was busy, even on a Monday night. The food there was delicious too. I got the sheep stew which is a departure from my normal cuisine but I wanted to try something different and I'm glad I did-it was delicious. The price at the hotel was very affordable. Next time I come to Abruzzo I will definitely be staying here.

In a natural environment breathtaking, in a town definitely worth a visit for its uniqueness, The Inn on the Lake is a jewel. We were pampered by the owner and his staff with a kitchen in the smallest details and an overnight stay regenerating. Good and complete breakfast! We will be back soon and I recommend it.
