The breakfast room was a little like Euston Station. Not enought tables, quite rude staff.

Honestly, this was a horrible experience. The staff were not helpful at all in helping with directions or taxis to the airport. But worst of all was the room. The mould smelt so strongly in our first room we had to request another room. The breakfast, well you’re much better off going a block over and enjoying what you eat and having a delicious coffee. Overall, it’s a great location with a rundown building and totally disinterested staff. Would NOT recommend.

Very nice place. Great pool although sometimes crowded. Great location. Minutes walking distance from The promenade lots of restaurants both kosher and not.

Decent hotel close to the beach as well as the port entertainment district. Decent breakfast, helpful staff. Note that there is no parking, even though they do have the facility. You need to find street parking, which is a challenge, or pay for one of the beach parking lots a bit further to the north.

Great location if you are looking to spend most time at the beach. Nice rooftop pool, nice options on the breakfast buffet and comfortable beds. The service could be better.

I had not booked in this hotel but I regret not having done it! As I was coming back from a trip to the Dead Sea, the staff was very friendly and helped me find a taxi that was not a crook (very rare in Tel Aviv! ). Bravo and thanks to the front desk staff. Helping and professional employees!

It's okay if you just come to bed. The room is small. If you leave the food, ants run around.

Staff was very friendly, welcoming, helpful, and accommodating to us. We were very appreciative! Rooms and bathroom were clean. Nice and comfortable beds. The hotel is very close to the ocean and the beautiful Metzizim beach. Pool on top floor was a pleasure and very clean. Breakfast was awesome with a wide assortment of cheeses, breads, eggs, hot dishes, and of course the best vegetables. I would definitely return to this hotel and I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately not everything is super. Faucets require repair. In the windows of the slit. How there live winter is a big question.

Really disappointed by this hotel that does not deserve its 4 stars, it does not even deserve two, half board is the level of a very poor canteen self.

We stayed 1 night here as a part of 10 day trip. We weren't very impressed with the room, it was built in the 40s, and not recently renovated. Our room was clean, but small. We had a king bed on the 11th floor. The food that we had in the hotel restaurant was great. It was buffet style, and it was not American food, but there was enough "safe food" for those traveling from the USA that don't know enough about local cuisine. The location is great, very close to the beach.

It would not hurt to make a cosmetic repair, but it is not the main thing.

Decent hotel. Could definitely do with a modernisation and upgrading from the 80's. Overall though a good 3* hotel worth staying. No parking available though which was a bummer.

We have stayed there many times. Everything was great. Maybe it needs an update, but it doesn't really matter. Lovely staff and great breakfast. Clean rooms. Hundred percent recommended. It's very close to the beach, so the view is great and only a couple of mins walk and you can enjoy the sea. Very good food places around the corner. The sushi place is a must. Probably my best sushi ever.

The hotel was nice, the room as you would expect from a hotel, we arrived at 2am and they made us dinner and left it at the fridge, what is really nice, nothing to reproach. BUT! We had a huge problem, the door didn't close, you could open it without the chip card, and that's a big deal when you have all your stuff there… We told the guy from reception and he send another guy to check it. They promised us it will be fixed before we will be back from our trip. Ir wasn't! With all our things in the room. That really pissed me of… the service sucks big time! Shame on you… And that's from someone who used to work in a hotel as a recepcionist.

Simple hotel, small rooms, food is not bad. The location is 2-3 minutes from the sea. There are a lot of shops nearby.

Nice hotel, moderate prices, very good location in the center of Tel Aviv, 5 minutes from the beach.

The Gandbeach Beach Hotel is located next to the sea. 2-3 minutes from the beaches. A little bit of people in the hotel. They didn't go to the pool. We got mainly on excursions and bathed in the gentle and warm sea. Nearby is the Carmel market and the away old town of Jaffa.

A regular hotel, nothing special, the rooms are very modest, the pool is disgusting, the location is good and plenty of food at the morning buffet.

Staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms were very clean. That's all the good things I can say. The food is so-so at best — it won't give you food poisoning, but you're not going to enjoy your meals. The elevators are very slow, you'll find yourself waiting a long time each time. When you do get in, sometimes the door malfunctions, closing and reopening several times, wasting even more time, before finally closing for real. Room isn't very well lit, the few lamps that are there have very confusing switches, and to make things worse one of them was a florescent bulb that took like 5 seconds to turn on, so even if you flicked the right switch you might not know it. Overall — it has a nice atmosphere, but when you get down to the details it's not all that.

He's not worth his four stars. Basic home. Breakfast OK Rooms small and very dirty. Considering the price we expected much more. We didn't test the pool.

Overall not bad, but not particularly great either for the price. Bathroom especially small, with very poor/old shower head. Disappointed there isn't a bed for couples in sight. Is this unique to Israel? Our fourth hotel in a row!

Very good hotel. The best of the big hotels on our Israel tour. The façade is not so beautiful anymore, it is great inside, the rooms and bathrooms clean and the breakfast by far is best.

Good hotel, good location. Pitty they have to enforce Shabatt for the 90% of tourists who are not religious. Religion by choice for those that choose, not by force!

No parking, small elevators, small beds, small pool on the roof, good location, not far from paid parking, good breakfast.

Hotel at 100m from the sea and close to the city center. The room was very good. Correct staff.

Clean rooms and very accommodating staff. The location to the beach is great, it's just right across the street! When we checked out at the middle of the night, they gave us each a dinner box to go.

Very basic, no frills and slightly dated decor, shower didn't work properly. Good price for how close the beach the property is, you do have to walk through the park across the street to get there, but its a nice walk. Kind of suprised that the bed did not have a sheet, only the comforter but it was light weight and smells clean. Cheap bed but I slept well.

Nice looking hotel. Although I was not a guest at this hotel, I did have many day tours that left from the hotel lobby. The front office people and the bellboys were always helpful when helping me to locate my tour.

Hotel very average the food is not good at all at 15 minutes walk to the beach not very welcoming does not recommend it.

Great breakfasts, especially on the weekends. Rooms were clean, front desk was friendly. Sadly the rooftop pool/patio was closed for the "season" even though it was warm and sunny and their website didn't disclose it as a seasonal amenity. Otherwise a great place.

For the price couldn't have asked for more. Great place for college students.

Slowly, we're used to in Israel and especially in Tel Aviv with the stars, and photos and descriptions of the Hotels cheating is what the stuff keeps. So one must also depreciation in terms of cleanliness, location and above all, friendliness. Bewrtung overall: 2 1/2 stars.
