Super well placed and original.

The cleanest hotel I saw, good smell inside, interesting indoor design style. Urbanistic, cosy, friendly, good staff. Very recommended!

Stayed 10 days, planning on staying again on our next trip to Tel Aviv. Quiet, comfortable, walking distance to everywhere. Could use some parking close, but only 3 blocks away was a garage. Friendly, helpful staff, called to make sure all was well. Nice personal touches.

The girls at the front desk what can I not say. Every word thats good say all those then make up some new good words add some more then you would be close to the exceptional service and kindness they showed. (Lee) … more then anyone. The hotel has clean room with plenty of space. And very private. The a/ c worked fine as well as the TV. There are some rooms that you need to share a bathroom but if you book both side of the room its like your own two bedroom apt. Enjoy.

Very clean rooms, perfect location. Beach is 5 min walk. Surrounding streets are full of great restaurants and boutiques. Trendy section of Dizengoff street just two blocks down. We stayed 7 nights in a balcony room and had a wonderful experience. Staff is friendly, English speaking and very accommodating. Only bummer is lack of pool. Can’t beat ‘Son of a Brown’ for the price.

One of the nicest hotel that I ever been. The location is great. Near the beach and the city. The furniture is simply unbelievable! A lot of funny things from the 80. A must!

Parking is the number one problem. And a serious problem. Parking filled and very expensive. But this is tel Aviv… Breakfast should start at 8. At 8.30 we were met by a surly waitress. Without the desire to serve in this hour. But it was a Saturday. To understand it, but still it affects the mood of the tourist. The hotel is nothing special. Respectively, the price.

My wife & I stayed at the "Son Of Dave" hotel, 17 Gordon Street, Tel Aviv, for 6 (six) nights. Great location within a walking distance to the beach, the newly face-lifted T-A harbor, Dissengoff Street, and all around this good old northern part of the "White City", lovely small streets with many original Bauhaus apartment buildings still standing, a lot being renovated, including this particular Dave Hotel… Our room (with an attached balcony) was slightly small, but comfortable. It was clean, with new sets of bathroom towels and a daily made bed. The only problem that we have encountered during our very first night, though, was the room air conditioner unit which did not function during that quite warm night! After reporting, but not making a fuss over it in the next morning, it was correctly turned on and worked well during the rest of our stay. As breakfast was included with our reservations, we thoroughly enjoyed an assigned restaurant/cafe/bakery spot that was located very close by, on the south/east corner of Ben Gurion Blvd, and Ben Yehuda Street, which came highly recommended by the front hotel desk person. As a whole, we found all hotel desk crews to be nice, polite, friendly, and helpful, even advising us about finding local bus routes, and more… We enjoyed our stay at this unusual and eclectic art and colorful location, hoping to visit it again on a future trip to Israel. Warm and friendly place. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice but we had 3 couples traveling together. We were all on different floors and had to share bathrooms/toilets with people we did not know. We would have liked to have been together.

Good hotel. The room is small but only for sleep it's fine. For take the breakfast, the hotel has two places, both are good.

There were some problems with the room but the staff very pleasant decided them and we perfectly ended the stay.

Our room was clean and orderly. Right in the center of Tel Aviv so there's easy access to everything. The staff was courteous and helpful. We did have a mishap with one night of booking. We were told our check-in time was one day later than it really was. So we were reimbursed without a hassle. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Hello! We are from Kazan. We loved the room and our balcony. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. Near shop, pharmacy and sea. We lived from mid-January to late February. Thanks for everything! Kazan.

A bit expensive for a youth hostel. But clean comfortable and emplassement ideal.

スタッフの対応がとても親切で24時間対応。ホテルの受付ではツアーの手配もしてくれる。ホテルの部屋もとてもモダンで清潔。共同バスルームの個室に宿泊したが冷蔵庫もシンクもあった。そしてお皿なども使えたのでとても助かった。 タオル、ドライヤー、シャンプー、コーヒー、電気ケトルなど必要なものは全部あって、同じ建物のすぐ下にスーパーマーケット、ドラッグストアもあるのでとても便利です。和食レストランとカフェもすぐ下にあります。 ビーチも歩いて数分の距離です。 テルアビブはホテル代がとっても高いですがその中でも比較的安めに泊まれるこのホテルはとてもおすすめです。 下のスーパーは金曜日の夜から閉まり、土曜日の日没後にまた営業してました。 帰りの空港までのタクシーもすぐに手配してくれる。140シェケル。必ず3時間前に空港に到着するように。ホテルのフロントで搭乗券もプリントアウトしてくれた。

Cosy awesome place in second row to the beach. Best price value in Tel Aviv, located to the best spots to the mediterranean sea. Clean, very good breakfast, more hotel — like than hostel. Many supermarkets and public transport around! Great and helpful staff!

Simple comfortable hotel near the beach. Room well equipped with small kitchen. Simple breakfast in the Bistro next door.

While the location and common areas are good, the facade, the room, the cleanliness, and the old paint all ask for some renewal in the ho (s) tel.

Basic but nice. The shower is going to be on the small side for bigger guys. Breakfast is good. Free coffee and tv, fridge in room.

The hotel was very comfortable. It is safe to stop if you plan to come to Israel for 5-7 days to see the country and leave. The most heartening thing is that the sea is nearly 5-10 minutes away.

This place is the best hostel what I have tried in Tel Aviv. Friendly and helpfully staff, big rooms, good breakfast. And the most imported for me: the beach is in the near!

Excellent choice for budget stay. Clean, tidy, very friendly. Four floors, there's an elevator. It's a cozy balcony, where 4-5 people can sit comfortably. Rooms with balcony and no rooms are public and separate, with a shared bathroom and a separate room. Breakfast in a nearby café in the same house.

Nice hotel. Good food in the café from hostels. I didn't like the ants in the room. Excellent service.

Wonderful! The new place is neat and clean. Totally worth the money. Great atmosphere with the help of the lovely girls at the reception. Breakfast is at 'fresh' resturant that I adore, there ia also sushi just below. Location is super. Hope to come again soon!

WARNING: THE HOSTEL IS CLOSED We booked a night over Internet and were shocked when we arrived. The neighbours told us that the Hostel ist now closed since almost five months. We were forced to take a room in an hotel and are still waiting for our deposit.

I've been in this place and it is very cheap, nice people the staff is attentive and friendly, the breakfast is asectable very clean, the kitchen has the event necessary to prepare for what you want, less than 100 meters away, there is laundry, restaurants, supermarket, in my case a nice experience.

Its location is perfect to go to the beach, just near Gordon beach. Friendly people, good fresh breakfast. Rooms are small and packed but You have air conditioning if too hot. Bathroom is quite clean but small. To be a hostel is not cheap.

Great welcome, great appartment, well situated in Tel Aviv (just near the beach, with a lot of public transport and the Carmel market very close), all s clean and well maintained. Everything for a good stay in Tel Aviv.

I wanted to reserved a room with a bathroom but it was not available for my entire stay purpose it was not availabe so I took a room with a shared bathroom. Upon arrival I had to pay for the entire period of my stay they couldn't just take my plastic in guarantee. Already the first night, I noticed that some strange insects were sharing the room with me. Ticks probably, but I'm not sure I'm not year insect specialist. Anyway, I slept in the room the first night and was bitten by all kinds of insects and by fear and anxiety, couldn't get asleep until 4 or 5 am. So I couldn't wake up and miss my morning appointment. The two following nights as I went to visit related in Haifa and Jerusalem I slept at their place so I didn't use the room, When I came back for the 4th night, first I noticed that the room wasn't done, the I just had the time to lie down on bed and got huge cocks we my arm That was at Eleven pm. The breakfast, compared to standard Israeli, is just hopeless. Now I've been to this place before. It's just the shadow of what it used to be, as I've stayed there before and it was different. NEVER AGAIN and I want to be refunded for my entire stay.
I wanted to book a room with bath. As the room was not available, I got a room with a shared bath. When I arrived I had to pay for my stay, the imprint of my credit card in security were not sufficient for them. Already the first night, I noticed weird insects shared the room with me.

I went in Gordon Inn in 2008 and I had a very bad experience. The staff usually was rude; the room was dirty and we found cockroaches a lot of times on the floor; the street where the ho (s) tel is located is very noisy. I don't know if the hotel now is improved, but in 2008 the situation was terrible.

Had a rest in January 2013. Book yourself. Came at night, but we left in advance note and instructions on arrival. Spent less than a day — left immediately after found bedbugs in the morning already napitavšihsâ blood! Lived in room 2 on the ground floor. Rooms are very small. Thin walls and everything that happens behind the wall very audible! Even how to take a shower in the room opposite in the hallway, the smell of food in the room from the kitchen behind a wall, in the morning you can hear who and what he eats for breakfast.

Stayed there back in 2010. Quite a good place — good price comparing to the rest of the hotels in Tel Aviv. Friendly staff. Close to the beach and Tel Aviv center. Worth the money they require.

Gordon inn – possibly the Best Hostel/BP in Tel Aviv! Friendly Staff and easy-2-find, is it located 2min. Walk from the beach. But the best thing about it is the absolute unique breakfast-buffet i've ever seen, of all my travels around the world. Shay is making the best Choice of original-isrealian Food for that Breakfast-Table. Yumm! Gordon-inn: my Choice for sure! Central — Clean — near the Beach — biggest Breakfast — good Budget-stay.
