Our decision to stay here was based on location and the pics on their website. The location is great, except they forgot to mention that there is a major construction site right in front of the hotel (10 yards from the main entrance) for the next year or so. As a result, it is tough to get around especially if you have luggage or shopping bags. We called ahead a few weeks before our arrival and were told that it does not affect anything. It did. Running around in 100 degree weather with all of your belongings is not fun. They also promised some limited parking, which turned out to be a blatant lie. The few spots they did have were occupied by the hotel employees, so you have to go quite far around the construction site and park in a public parking garage 3 blocks away. Just pray that the public parking lot is not full. The rooms are clean and fairly modern, but very tight and small. So if you plan to share the room with another person think twice. The size isn't even close to a room in a chain hotel in the USA. The staff was trying their best and were very polite, especially the reception manager, but they could not do much to help us. I was quite tired since it was a business trip, but I did not have a good night's sleep there. The neighbors in the next building were blasting music every night and the hotel windows were not sealed enough to block the noise. All in all it was a poor experience. I have stayed numerous times in other boutique hotels of the same chain (Like Shalom and Relax) and they were much better. This place is not worth the money.
