Review of Herods Vitalis Spa Hotel Eilat a Premium collection 5*

Hotel Hell. The worst Passover experience which was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime. Herod's boutique is NOT a hotel to be wasted yr money staying at. We are doing the Passover experience with the Organizer Bernard Touitou and He promised suites and did not give them, and we paid for them. Touitou on more than one occasion was smoking inside the non-smoking hotel and I spoke to the front desk about it and they did nothing. On top of it all he tried to demand more money for rooms he did not guarantee. I was told Unfortunately that the hotel cannot do anything, they were trying but hands were tied as they kept telling me not to worry and that they will take care of me. Again all lies… Today Mr. Eltaieb promised me a free upgrade, but they just swept me under the rug from one person to the next like we did not matter and even telling me the manager will speak to me when no one even had the decency to contact me, why promise one thing for me to delete this review and then not even have the decency to do anything but make false promises? I came all the way from Canada and actually wished we were back home in the cold than to be embarrassed and treated like animals. Seriously Herods is not a hotel that treats you with care, they really don't know the first thing about customer care and I don't recommend this place unless you enjoy being treated poorly! In the end the Director of Herods Ofirah Kadosh told us if we wanted an upgrade we needed to pay 100 Euro a night on top of what we already paid, otherwise stay where you were. Sad how poorly customer care is here and I work in Media and Travel sales and will make sure my customers and following know the facts before booking here at Herods Boutique.
