An amazing experience. This is certainly one of the best hotels in Israel. It's a boutique, so there are not many rooms — therefore it never feels crowded. The gardens, the pool and the rooms are beautiful and quiet. The food and service are very good. Went with a baby, and it was great. (Almost every place accessible with a stroller, though sometimes you have to walk around)

Lovely scenery and path for walking in the complex! The upper floors overlook the sea of Galilee but the lower looks are just a few steps away. The food is well prepared as well! There is access to a pool and full workout facility.

Wi-fi is very problematic. Other than that… everything is flawless! The food… the staff… The room… The massage… Perfect!

We have been in a family and friends birthday party event in the Scots Hotel. The event was in a quiet and beautiful wine cellar that have been reinnovated. The birthday started with a delicious meal leading into wine tastying with an explanation on each wine and the process of making it. The presentor was knowledgeable and very polite answering all of our question. The night continued into desserts and chilled music. I would defenatly recommend it as it was really enjoyable, simply a night to remember.

There are various massages on site, after which you can enjoy a glass of champagne. Old-timers tell that earlier there were also sandwiches with caviar, but alas ( (

Great spa, secluded pool… lovely and peaceful gardens and terraces… Excellent food… Great way to spoil yourself for a day or two.

Wow! I liked everything about It. The authenticity, the location, the story, the sea view, the rooms, the luxury, the food, the service, the silence. I got a surprise for my BD. And this is an amazing hotel. Highly recommended for couples, and adults.

The best place to relax in the lake Kinneret. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located in the 1894, which is in itself a historically curious place.

The Hotel is beyond beautiful and spacious and a joy to stay there. The food was delicious and the staff were professional and courteous and extremely helpful. Our stay was memorable. Can"t wait until our next visit.

We just loved it! Comfortable, clean and interesting (historically). The view is splendid, the spa is indulging. The food is tasty, abundant and fancy. The staff are well known for their hospitality.

It is rear that I rate 5 stars, but so is this hotel. Once you enter you feel you have been entered into a bubble which you wish could last. Though not kosher, the hotel has an unforgettable Halva and the rest of the food is over the average too. The location is amazing and has its own beach. The rooms are very high standard, especially (renovated) the old section that is all basalt stone. The hotel is small and best to visit there off-season.

Fantastic hotel, easy access, amazing breakfast and dinner buffet. Small cozy wine bar. Excellent spa. Large outdoor pool and garden all very well maintained. Gift shop has a very unique selection. Attentive staff. Beautiful rooms, large bath, amazing view.

The hotel was an old hospital building in Tiberius so the scenery is quite special. It runs by the scotish cherch and offers basic rooms but all the rest is superb. The food is excellent (this is a none kosher hotel so you get fresh food on the weekends as well). The pool is a bit noisy (too many kiss to my opinion) and the spa is very relaxing. The bar has 55 different whiskys.

A nice hotel with a view of the Sea of Galilee. You know it is definitely Scottish when they offer you whisky while checking in!

Great food. Great service. Great location. Not so friendly to handicap / strollers but overall a great place for a vacation.

Lovely hotel! Great location, staff and food.

Old Arab house from the 1930ties turned into a new and stylish boutique hotel. Tucked away, it is quite, but only a minute away from the main shopping and restaurant road. Many attractions in walking distance Sitting area in the garden is very pleasant. The breakfast buffet has a large variety and everything is nicely presented, the same applies for dinner.

This hotel is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at (and there have been a few). The restaurant is spectacular; go for both breakfast and dinner — you won't be disappointed. (Side note, it's non-kosher, and ironically, I had some of the best pork there I've ever had. ) Breakfasts include a number of yogurts, cheeses, hot dishes (including chocolate lava cake! ), meats, and — oh my, a butcher block with freshly baked breads. Yes, breads, plural! Heavenly. Dinners, well — my favorite was a puff pastry stuffed with lamb. Utterly superb. The hotel grounds are also amazing; from your room or throughout the grounds, you can watch the sunrise over the Sea of Tiberias. The pictures don't do it justice.
