One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in (and i've been to 22 countries). Great staff, clean, amazing location. Odem is small charming town with a berry farm and winery offering free wine tastings. There is a yurt which hosts impromptu yoga and you are close by to an abandoned military facility that gives amazing views into the Golan and Syria. Accessible to beautiful and safe hikes full of waterfalls and swimming holes. My best advice is to do whatever the staff tells you to do. Show up with no itinerary and you'll find that you have more than enough to do. My week spent in the Golan was split between Katzrin and Odem with a short stop on Mount Bental while hitch hiking between the two. Mount Bental is great for military history and has a lookout into the infamous ghost town of Al Qunaitra in Syria as well as a good cafe.

This is in Odem. Really in the Golan. Really fun people, everybody eats supper like a big family. Bus from Qiryat Shmona. Cosy, with adventure all around.
