A beautiful hotel convenient to everything.

The staff is incredible here. We love coming to breakfast to see staff like Said who make our experience so enjoyable. He always makes sure all our needs are taken care of. The food is fantastic and there is a wide array of dishes. The pool is great for kids. The playroom is an amazing addition. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Excellent stay. The check in was fast. I was upgraded at no additional cost. Luxury hotel right outside the old city gate. My refrigerator kept locking so I don’t know what that was about. The bed was comfy. Loved the dual shower heads and garden tub. Pool was heated. Gym was larger than most hotels. The breakfast was excellent! Huge variety of food offered. Right next to Mamilla shopping strip. Abed was excellent, tentive at breakfast.

The David Citadel Hotel was a luxury hotel located near the Old City and the city center. The hotel is close to the famous King David Hotel and close to Mamilla Mall. Nearby the mall there are a number of gardens in the Mamilla garden as well as Independence Park. A few minutes walk from the mall you can reach the Tower of David and the Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Views of the Old City are spectacular. Staff is attentive. Rooms are nicely sized and well-appointed. Best location in Jerusalem.

Fantastic luxury hotel in the heart of Jerusalem. Rooms are a bit small but very modern and comfortable. Showers were amazing, bed very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and the staff there was very good when it came to service. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. Very close to the western wall and old city also which was a plus.

Pretty good location and a good place to host functions at. Clean restrooms, helpful staff. The temperature wasn't too hot or cold in the conference room either. I would stay here if the prices were way lower! But at these prices, no can do.

Only had dinner there with a group of about 40 Good variety of salads. Main course was a selection of pastas with different sauces, pizza and a salmon dish. All were excellent! The view from the terrace dining area was beautiful with a spectacular view of the old city!

Stunning and upscale hotel near the Old City and the Mamilla Mall. Many rooms overlooking the Old City. Near the. Beit Shmuel theater and restaurants if all kinds. OutsyandOut amenities and services. Lovely terraces.

Price-Quality! The rooms are standard, clean and cozy!

Lousy service and if you leave you get cat for hare, not true what you show on their web side, plus the cleanliness is lousy, in the breakfast restaurant you have to clean up a space and bring up your cutlery, there is a guy who says manager and tells you if You don't like to go what he can sell your most expensive rooms, because the 4 rooms I book I do not have because they oversold and as there is no law nobody protects you.

Eat dinner at the David Citidel… it will be a time-remembered, exquisitely.

Luxury Hotel, quiet and central location.

This is an excellent hotel. It is expensive, but incredibly upscale with clean, well-maintained rooms, and in a great location near the Jaffa Gate to the Old City.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The restaurant had a wide array of delicious choices with a great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff was helpful and attentive.

I was only there visiting someone briefly but it seemed very nice. There were lots of people dressed up for shabbat so I imagine it is a good place to celebrate.

This hotel is tremendous, first class on all levels. Service is first class, rooms are as well… beautiful, fully appointed with patios facing the old city. Food is excellent. On par with the very best brands anywhere.

Comfortable and good location but high price.

An upscale high class luxury hotel for those who can afford it. The locals who aren't even staying at the hotel pay to enter the swimming pool. The hotel is a tall building with magnificent views of Jerusalem from every window. The hotel is also conveniently located near the light rail which is extremely useful. The spa and the gym are simply cherries on top of this lovely romantic hotel.

We arrived for our wedding anniversary, and we where warmly welcomed by the staff from the beginning that we arrived with our luggage to the lobby, the room had a great view of the old city. We got complementary campaign and chocolate on the house to our room, the hole atmosphere was excellent.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Such a great place to stay. Right in the center of the city, and there's a mall close by. Food is great, and during shabbat, they have dedicated elevators for those you are observing the sacred period. There's a lot of space and a lot things to look at :).

Very impressed with this venue, staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable dealing upto and beyond our expectations. Of particular note is Fadi, who seems set on ensuring our visit is not only pleasant but relaxing. Rooms are of a great size and quality is top notch. We would normally stay at the Waldorf but think we've got a new favourite. Give it a go!

After spending ~2 weeks in the Middle East, our last two nights were spent at David Citadel and we loved it. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the staff provided exceptional personalized service, and the room was comfortable and spacious.

Beautiful hotel, with amazing pool. Breakfast buffet is outstanding, and free! Don’t forget to try the chocolate milk at the buffet, best I’ve had!

Beautiful hotel. I love that there's a porch to air outside and enjoy the views. The only set back is how large it is, which attracts a huge amount of people, making for a lot of traffic at breakfast and in and out.

It has class, warmth, charm and some European air. Amazing view to the Wall and great outdoor place. Comfortable room, Occitane bath products, generous breakfast, kind personnel, business class level. Nicely welcome to Jerusalem!

שהיתי במלון התאריך 20-21.11.16 המלון יפה ונעים, החדר גדול ויפה. אבל האוכל פשוט נורא ארוחת ערב מהגרועות שאכלתי, אפילו בבית חולים האוכל יותר מוצלח. יצא לי להיות בהמון בתי מלון בארץ במלונות יקרים ובכאלה שפחות מעולם לא נתקלתי באוכל כזה גרוע! המגוון עלוב הטעם תפל האוכל ברובו היה קר, אני לא מבין איך שף ידוע ומוערך מוציא אוכל כזה, גם ארוחת הבוקר היתה ברמה נחותה חסר מגוון של גבינות וסלטים. פשוט אכזבה! I stayed at the hotel date 20-21.11.16 nice and cozy, nice big room. But the food is just terrible the worst I've eaten dinner, even hospital food is better. I got to be a lot of hotels in the country in expensive hotels and those slaves have never come across such bad food! Diversity poor taste bland food was mostly cold, I do not understand how a chef known and appreciated out such food, breakfast was also inferior lacks a variety of cheeses and salads. Just disappointed!

Very nice hotel. Shower was amazing. Nice amenities. Very close walk to the wall. Stayed by myself so I'm not sure if it would have been comfortable had I come with my family of five. The rooms throughout my stay in Israel have been consistently small but this room was larger like in the US. So far in in Tel Aviv, I stayed at the David and Hilton. Nazareth, Legacy hotel. And of course this hotel in Jerusalem.

Last Thursday We got married and we picked the David citadel to be our anniversary night place!
We received free champagne, free chocolate and free breakfast to our room, Very high class facilities, great and delicious breakfast, Alkov room is spectacular with an amazing view from the balcony, and everything you just can ask or dream about is in your room! Big recommendation for this great place!

The rooms are beautiful, the food is gourmet, the service is second to none.

First class all the way. Close to the old city and great shopping nearby.

Nice lounge that has a nice dairy restaurant, Beautiful patio overlooking the old city.

Maybe not as beautiful as the Waldorf Astoria or the King David, but the location is incredible and place is really nice (it's also cheaper than the other two, though still by no means inexpensive)

Yesterday we met with a group of 9 childhood friends (for the first time in 40 years) for lunch in the Jerusalem Citadel hotel. The very large dining room was completely empty except for one other table of 4 people. We asked the head waiter if he could rearrange the tables into a square so that we could all enjoy the conversation together. The waiter refused to do so and insisted that it was against hotel policy. As you can imagine after 40 years of friendship (we are no longer teen agers with the best hearing) we would have enjoyed sitting in a square arrangement as opposed to a looong table! I am taking the time to write this email because Israeli tourism is very important to me. Every happy tourist becomes the best ambassador for Israel. The lack of flexibility and sensitivity is not the best advertising tactic to increase tourism. In the world we live in today we cannot afford to have unhappy campers.
