Just back yesterday from a surprise weekend, wonderful hard working staff very friendly and polite, evening meal roast beef was beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was served by a lovely friendly lady, definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic family meal in the bar today, the Haddock & Chips was delicious. The service was 1st class and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended 👍

Just back from a nites stay at a very run down shabby hotel. Really disappointed. Only good thing was the staff helpful and friendly! in urgent need of a refurb!

I had a Fantastic Weekend at the Bay View Hotel and can't Thank Seamus and his Staff enough for the Warm Welcome and making our stay special. From we entered the Hotel the Staff couldn't do enough for us. Great Service & Excellent Food. We will Definitely be back in the near future and would highly recommend it for a short / weekend break.

Stayed there last week.
room was lovely and clean and breakfast was really good. The hotel carpet wasn't cleaned during the three days /nights we stayed and neither was our room cleaned daily as we would have expected.
Staff were great in dining room but NO managers or management in sight for this few days. Staff seem to work long hours. General toilets we're used by the public and could be cleaner. Overall the hotel location is class but needs an upgrade and someone to ensure carpets etc are kept clean. I would return but would like to see a cleaner hotel in the future.

I stayed here 15 days while in quarantine, waiting to make it to the ship. Excellent service, food was great, rooms were clean, awesome place. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay more pleasurable.

My partner and I stayed in the Bayview hotel for 3 nights from 27th September. Room was spacious and comfortable with nice view of the harbour. We had a really enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, in fact they couldn't do enough for us! On the Saturday, we spoke to Sharon at the front desk to arrange a taxi to take us to Sliabh Liag cliffs as we don't drive and also to book a table for the Steak night meal. Sharon was so friendly and helpful, and told us that she would have driven us there herself if she wasn't working! Meanwhile, Seamus the manager was speaking to us and the next thing we knew he handed us a voucher for 2 complimentary steak dinners! A lovely gesture from an absolute gentleman! We also enjoyed the live music in the bar at the weekend, and would thoroughly recommend this hotel and their amazing and friendly staff! We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit this beautiful part of Donegal!

Wonderful hotel and great staff, nothing to much for them, rooms very relaxing and spacious also food here is beautiful I would recommend a stay here to friends and family.

Great views, good food, staff very friendly and helpful.

Staff are brilliant. Rooms need updated went for dinner on sat night beautiful went Sunday night let down burger was burnt on one side all I could taste was charcoal chips reheated. Don't think. I'd stay again.

The steak the service and the staff are all excellent nice atmosphere too and the view isn't bad either.

Had Sunday lunch in the Bayview's Hotel bar yesterday. I ordered the Monk fish cooked in a mustard cream sauce. It was delicious — I could not fault this dish. The monk was perfectly cooked. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their food. Compliments to the Chef John.

Great location, beautiful views, overall bit dated and worn but comfy bed and spacious room, good food.

Lovely little hotel, very cosy and friendly staff. Rooms were alot larger than expected and the bed was very comfortable, would stay again.

A lovely hotel overlooking the port. Good food, good rooms and a reasonable price. The town is quiet but it's one of it's charms.

Liked this hotel. Felt very comfortable here. Good receptionist. Friendly staff. Cruise ship docked and a craft show was in hotel for the resulting tourists when we were there.

Went here for a midweek break. Lovely food, pleasant staff. All in all a good spot for a few days.

Had dinner in Luke’s restaurant in the bay view last night and it was amazing. The food and service was top class! I have never had steak and garlic potatoes as good couldn’t recommend it enough.

Staff were very friendly… Rooms spotless… Gorgeous location.

Food was good although service was very very slow, sat with one drink throughout two courses as could not get waitresses attention… Ordered desert and coffee (after going searching for a waitress as no one came to our table), coffee arrived 20 mins later but no desert… After wait g a further 10-15 mins later we cancelled desert and asked to settle bill. No apology offered at all and waitress took offence that we were cancelling desert!

Very nice and quaint Hotel halls huge beautiful lamps and very original site quite recommended not very expensive refurbished bathrooms and new personal address very friendly and correct, I'll be back.

Beautiful 3 star hotel in Donegal — an old fishing town not far from the Slieve League.

Just home from a fantastic weekend staying in bayview hotel. This was our 1st staying here and we would highly recommend to anyone. The staff went over and beyond so down to earth and so helpful. The room… what can we say… 110% bed was so comfy room was spotless. We can't thank you all enough for the warm welcome and always ther if we needed anything… Tina the hotel receptionists was a wee star. So where the "girls" you know who you are… thank you and we, Eilis and myself, Faith will see you soon xxxx.

What have I not said about the Bayview it is possibly my/ our favourite Hotel, love it.

Very helpful staff lovely comfortable beds great breakfast and bar food would definitely recommend.

Am excellent place to eat with stunning view of Atlantic Ocean right in front of you.

Nice clean hotel. The food was great, reasonably priced and the welcome was warm. The bar/restaurant lacked a bit on the service front though. Need to be more attentive to customers although to be fair when we were there it was a very, very busy night with what appeared to be a large Christmas function on.

Chicken stone cold and found bone in the chicken the people in the kitchen are so dam rude! Would never recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great family holiday here last week. From start to finish everything was first class, the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the bar at night could not be faulted, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Great hotel for basing your tour of this beautiful corner of Donegal. Dave the bar man was friendly but professional. The food was amazing. The cosy fireside for your evening dinner is a must. Reception staff also very professional and helpful. Don't sell yourselves short guys, your food and ambiance is the best in town. (Just get our national flag replaced with a new one)

It. S brilliant to see back open again because main center hotel in town were u have lovely view looking out at Harbour at all boats and sailing boat coming in stuff and cruise boats from different parts off world coming in to new pier were it is deep nuf for them come in to it ☺☺☺

This hotel has since been taken over and revamped, new chefs new menus new focus, everything has greatly improved.
