Heron's Cove Hotel

Lived up to every expectation that a great hotel could provide a guest. Would truly stay again. Lovely hosts.

This is such a wonderful place to stay! The exterior is gorgeous and the interior matches. Rosie and Davie, the owners, are fantastic people. Both of them have been so friendly and helpful to my family and you can tell they enjoy what they do. They definitely made sure that we were having a good time and were very engaging in conversation.
I will definitely come back here on my next visit.

The Best Hotel I never got to stay in… made a mistake in my booking, booked the wrong weekend. Davie was a gentleman, the place was fully booked and he made arrangements for us to get into a hotel nearby, on a very busy Bank Holiday weekend. He also rang me later on that evening to make sure we were sorted, above and beyond! The next time I travel that way… 1. I'll get my dates right and 2. It's the only place I'll stay! Great location for the North West, It's the perfect balance between a B&B and small hotel, owners Davie and Rosie are lovely. Thanks again.

Had a fantastic stay. Davey & Rosie are fabulous people and couldn't do any more to make our weekend perfect. Great breakfast to start your day, very comfortable beds, 10 out of 10 all round.

Very nice location, we could see the sea, mountains and the fields from the room. Three things in one, the staff is realy pleasent and the owner took his time to see if every guest is happy. Food is also very good, rooms are clean, to clean for a hotel actually, realy nothing to complain. I would give it 6 stars but 5 is the max, so, 5 it is.

The hosts were very friendly and produced an excellent breakfast with the best black pudding that Dave was proud to serve.

What a gem of a place. Stayed here over the weekend whilst attending A Taste of Donegal. Really welcoming hosts, very comfortable rooms and. And … the black pudding… non like it … highly recommend Herons Cove. Well worth it.

A friendly and relaxing atmosphere; created by excellent hosts, who clearly care about the quality of service they provide to their guests. Davey and Rosie take a genuine interest in their guests; and use their knowledge of the local area and facilities to ensure that you make the most of your stay in the area.
The comfort of the beds — and the quality of the food served at breakfast are worth particular mention. We really enjoyed our stay.

Brilliant B&B Hosts Rosie and Davie were very friendly and so helpful. Cooked breakfast was first class with the Sausages and Black pudding the best I have ever tasted. Room was beautiful and great comfy bed. I can't wait to return.

Davie and Rosie could not have been more welcoming. Extremely professional but also great for a chat and gave great advice about food in the local area. Rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, especially the black pudding. Like a home from home, great little spot. 10/10 will definitely stay here when in the area again.

Apologies for the long review but I'd be doing the location, guest house & owners and injustice if I didn't review properly. My girlfriend had booked a weekend away to this lovely guest house for us both for my birthday. I did not look at any reviews or even the location because I wanted it to be a surprise. And what a surprise it was. I have to tell you categorically that the owners "Davie & Rosie" are the most welcoming friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure to met. The experience they both give us and very close friends, was beautiful and accommodating to say the least. The rooms themselves were both cosy, clean & exactly what we look for no dust, clean fresh aroma and beautiful furniture. The atmosphere was quite and quint, but humble and comfortable to the highest degree. They also greeted us with a huge smiles and warmth. Supplied us Wi-Fi codes each and made sure we had everything we needed. That's just the start. The visit got better and better. We decided to take it easy on the arrival night, explained we just wanted good food and a nice environment. Little did we know Davie and Rosie had made calls to the restaurant they had suggested to us to "look after us" and that they did. Before leaving Davie and Rosie knew the reason why we were there and brought fourth a bottle of champagne on ice before we left, and even had a lift organised personally from them to the restaurant. We sipped champagne in the beautiful lounge and laughed.

Had a fantastic weekend with family and friends over the newyears weekend. Wonderful venue. Rosie and davy are top hosts nothing was a problem for them. My boys are loving the dance moves davy showed them lol definitely recommend staying here. Very warm and welcoming. Cant wait to get back xx.

Our one night visit to Heron`s Cove was perfect in every way. The hotel was quiet, restful and we were warmly received by the gracious hosts. Food was not being served but we were directed to our choice of 3 different eateries in the vicinity, the menus of which were displayed in reception of Heron`s Cove. Our breakfast the following morning was in a most beautiful space, bright and tastefully decorated. I will definitely make this a must stay for our next visit to Donegal. Many thanks to Davy and Rosie for such a genuine welcome.
