Was there for lunch great food and service staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly altogether a great experience was had.

Was out for lovely meal with my partner staff were very friendly would definitely recommend lawlors we will return thank you very much.

I paid €80 for single bnb on 8th July.
The breakfast was really poor. I was given burnt toast and a pot of coffee that was like water. The beakfast was largely over cooked and dried up.
On checkout I sought to make a complaint to the manager and met the owner at the desk. Surprisingly he was completely indifferent, didn't apologise and just disengaged fron me. This was the worst customer service I've seen. Eugene McCarthy.

Absolutely loved stay in Lawlors — no better place to relax after doing the Greenway 😀 Very central local with plenty of parking provided by the hotel. All the staff were so friendly, hardworking and professional. Will definitely return.

There was no social distancing in the breakfast dining room. Staff were wearing masks under their noses.

Food was amazing and great service.

16 of is went for a meal in Lawlors tonight. From the friendly Bar staff to the fabulous meal €20 for 2 courses €24 for 3 courses. Every meal was beautiful & the staff were friendly & attentive. We'll be back for sure.

Had a lovely meal in your hotel last night for my birthday both Chris @ myself thought superb staff very efficient so friendly @ helpful in your restaurant lovely ambiance thank you Rose @ Chris.

I have to say, I met Kianga tonight and she takes so much pride in trying to make sure all rooms are spotless. The hotel itself is basic enough and dated decor wise but have to admit, it’s very clean. And good price at €60 for my single including breakfast. 5 stars for me.

We just had a family of 14 there for meal. And the food and the service amazing.

Had dinner here Friday night the steak was exceptional and the two ladies waitressing were beyond lovely not often you meet staff like them they were so friendly to our two year old. Had the best dining experience. Even on the way out we met a man in a uniform who addressed us and was playfully chatting to our daughter. It’s a must for anyone in this direction.

Clean and spacious rooms! We had a bit of traditional Irish music on a tues night, it was fantastic. The food was unbelieveable, rib-eye steak to die for! I highly recommend this spot.

Arrived today and really pleased with our large room with 4 post bed. Staff ultra friendly, ate in and the food was great. Great price with breakfast included with a great view of the fishing boats from our window.
10/10.

Spent a lovely Mother’s Day at Lawlors for the Afternoon Tea and Prosecco. Top class service, couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

Had the Mexican fiesta last night. It was a lovely mix of tasty bites. Plenty to eat and would be a great start to anyone's night out.

Seriously couldn’t fault anything here, me being a fussy, picky, smelling everything freak,,, I will definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back the service was second none, the food was delicious and the bill was as cheap as chips,,, I’ll be back.

Had a nice break, food was good as was the service, bar could be better managed. Rooms were good but decor needs attention.

Afternoon Tea here is certainly not to be missed. The food is only delicious. A huge amount and an amazing variety all served up by really friendly, helpful staff on a beautiful decorated table. Highly recommend it.

This is a nice hotel with a great bar and live music in the evening. I really enjoyed listening to some traditional Irish music throughout the evening. The bar at the hotel itself is great but the hotel is a bit older but given its age that is understandable. The staff were fantastic.

Lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly. Our room spacious and very clean. Breakfast is a quiet gentle affair. Dining room very pleasant and dinner menu was lovely. Portions are a bit on the large side but who's complaining. I would recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Dungarvan a beautiful town full of interesting things.

Nice cosy hotel the rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly they have live music in the bar most nights and they do a really good breakfast.

The hotel is in a fine location. Staff and food very good. Room very disappointing. Very much in need of an update and a good dusting. The shower is very shabby indeed. In fact the stairs and public areas could have done with a hoovering.

Location good. But hotel is dated with dark interior. Our bedroom was very small, not that clean and smelled of stale cigarettes. Breakfast very traditional and of poor quality.

This town has grown over the years that I have been coming. Went to Mathon waterfall and the vee Road amazing sights.

Very central — good place to be based in — walking distance to everywhere in the town.

My mother and father where subjected to the most rudess person working on the carverly because they complained that the beef was a bit tough and asked if it was possible to have something different, the reply was everyone else said it was fine and offered a steak knife. Normally John Bill the manager or any other member of staff would have sorted this matter. But it was Mike Burke who needs to go on a course on people skills. My father who is 80yrs of age was so upset that when leaving at the bar exit door on to bridge street he slipped and broke his arm. I just like to say every member of staff have been fantastic over the years and we won't be returning if I see Mike Burke is working.

Stayed there last night 31/3/18 for a hen party. The staff went above and beyond for us (25 of us) especially the lads that were doing the cocktail making demo. We were made feel welcome from the minute we entered the hotel until we left. Would highly recommend this hotel. Food everything was spot on. Thanks very much to all the staff.

Have been going to Lawlors for the past 17years to Paddy O Brien country weekend have got to know all the staff. They are all brilliant lovely honky place to stay would highly recommend.

Beautiful meal on Valentine's night very friendly staff very nice hotel and good value for money.

We stayed there for a night not sure what to say the wasn't as clean as you would expect. The toilet didn't flush as well. The receptionists were nice and friendly and helpful. And so was most of waitress but somewhat the barman was a rude as if he didn't want to be there. The crockery on the morning setting was a dirty.

The room was a dissapointment, arrived had great service from reception. Had a good dinner in the restaurant. The room had huge cracks in the ceiling.

Food fablous but found waiter with glasses Not very helpful. My husband and I called on way home from Whitfield Clinic who was on crutches after leg surgery. We were looking for a high seat for comfort but he was tryi g to direct us way around the bar corner, anyway a nice female waitress saw our difficulty and made room. At countet for us for which we were greatful. The nice food made up for all that and would not stop is calling in the future Thank you Ann & Denis.

Stayed at The Lawlors Hotel from Sun 08 Oct to Wed 11 Oct booked through Just Go Holidays. Public rooms are nicely presented however the downstairs public toilets are very dated and stair carpet in this area is past its best however the carpets in all other areas appear to have been recently replaced. Our room was a little dated but it was clean and had a spacious bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Food was outstanding and a very high quality (I personally would have liked to have seen fresh fruit at breakfast rather than just tinned) The evening dinners exceeded expectations. Lovely hotel only about 2 minutes walk from the town centre and also the waterfront.

Ignorant staff, food mediocre, would not be returning in a hurry. Great place if you're a tourist.

Stayed here from Sunday to Wednesday this week on a Tour of Cork, Killkenny & Waterford. The Hotel was ok all though dusty in places. Beds very comfortable. A bit old fashioned furniture wise in our room. Bathroom was badly lit and loo poked in a corner and hard to use. No shower screen only a curtain. No view from our room either. But was too tired for it to bother us after the tours. Meals were lovely and Staff were excellent talkative jovial and happy to help. Michael the waiter was a legend in himself. Overall fit for its purpose but rooms/bathrooms need modernising.

Had a lovely meal here in the Restaurant. Good food, reasonably priced. Nice service.

A tired, dated hotel lacking in basic cleanliness with unclean smell all around … table had obviously been cleaned with a dirty cloth, sugar bowl, milk jug, salt and peppers obviously just refilled and never washed. … Was meeting up with old friends so was distracted from this at the beginning of our meal… Went to use the bathroom after the meal suffice to say I wouldn't have dined there if I had seen it when I arrived. 2 male members of staff, one at reception and one in bar were very unfriendly, a female member of staff did speak to us when we ordered coffees. Some of our main courses were good, but the smoked salmon which was just thrown on a plate was certainly not a good choice Not a good experience and left feeling grubby… I dont normally write negative reviews but this Hotel is certainly not reaching even a basic level of courtesy or cleanliness.

Tired hotel with constant noise from people leaving night clubs etc on the road outside from 11pm until gone 4 in the morning. Food passable but service chaotic.

Very bad. Strange hair on the bed, bed covers partly Dirty. Musty smell in the house and the best… Jam Scruffy and orange juice SOUR.

Correct room. In bathroom missing a tablet to lay the toilets business. Little reproach: The hallways smell like cigarettes. Correct meal.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, excellent food, friendly staff. Only complaint hotel looks a bit tired. Needs repainting and the carpets replacing. Otherwise fine.

Stayed over for one nite, food was excellent, bar and staff were great, music in bar was very enjoyable. Overall the hotel was good, the let down was the cleanliness of the place, in room I moved bed to reach socket, kids sock on floor,,, bathroom, alot of dust and smudge, bath toilet and hand basin clean fine to use, top of lights panel, thick with dust, one blub blown. In restaurant the jug used for water on table had seen only a lick of cloth, cud do with good proper wash. Overall good just little dusty/unkempt in places.

It is like two different worlds in this hotel. The Bar and Restaurant is very nice and modern, however the rooms are manky. Shabby dirty toilets and run down rooms. Shame really because when you walk in there you expect better.

I enjoyed my experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms are charming. Also, the atmosphere in the bar area is great and the food served in the restaurant was good too. I recommend it to anyone visiting the Dungarvan area. If I had to make a recommendation for the hotel, it would just be for them to install bug screens on all of the windows in the rooms. During the summer, the rooms can get somewhat warm and stuffy, and without AC installed, the only refuge one has is to open the windows to let in a little cool fresh air. But after doing so, you'll find that several bugs make their way into the room! So I think it would be good to install bug screens as soon as possible to prevent this from happening.
