We stayed in Dun Ard for 2 nights, and we absolutely loved it! Our room was amazing — with a jacuzzi and sauna! We also had an electric fireplace, a couch, smart TV… More than you would expect even from a 5 star accommodation! The cleanliness was outstanding!
The best part, however, were the friendly and always willing to help hosts! Joe would chat away to us at breakfast, letting us know where to go, what to see and what events are on around. His wife prepared the most delicious breakfasts, which not only tasted by also looked 5 star!
Overall, it was the best B&B I've been so far, well definitely go back!

This is a truly magical stay and if you want a comfortable, homely and luxury 5 star stay then this B&B is a MUST
Joe and Anne are so friendly and Joe is so full of knowledge he will make your trip.
The rooms are fabulous and the breakfast is so tasty and Joe takes such great care of everyone that stays with them.

We only booked for one night but it was fab from the friendly greeting we received when we arrived to when we left, we stayed in the comeragh suite an I have to say it didn't disappoint its a very spacious room with a massive king size bed, sauna an Jacuzzi tub, Joe was very helpful in telling us where to go for something to eat an gave us lots of choices to pick from. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast. We felt very spoilt staying here would recommend this place to anyone passing or wanting to get away. Loved it so much booked again before we left cant wait to spend my birthday weekend here.

Only stayed one night but it was great! Wish we stayed longer! Luxurious, spacious room with a comfortable king-size bed, gas fireplace, sauna, jacuzzi tub & great views! Within walking distance is a traditional Irish pub called Mooney's. Mooney's had great music&friendly people! The next morning, we had a wonderful breakfast prepared by Joe&Anne. We truly got to experience Ireland staying at this B&B!

My wife & I just enjoyed our third stay at Dún Ard this past July. Our first visit was due to the Internet and Blind Luck. We chose it because the description seemed most inviting. Was it beautiful, luxurious and a joy? Yes. All of that! But it was actually more. Annie & Joe treated us like it was good to see us again… even though this was our first visit. We thought we understood hospitality, but they provided an entirely new definition. The setting, the view, the accomodations, the furnishings, the decorating and the food were all exceptional. But, beyond that, Annie & Joe were what made Dún Ard so special. We hated to leave… and were eager to return… which we did 8 months later. That was the coldest and wettest March in Ireland’s history… but the welcome and the visit was sincere and warm. Advice on ways to go, places to see and suggestions for food and drink were all exactly in keeping with our desires. Of course, Mooney's was part of that trip. It was close, genuine and just perfect! Now after our most recent stay, it seems more like a visit with close friends. It was my Birthday weekend and both Annie & Joe were there to add to the excitement of my very first “Birthday Bumps”! We’ll return again and again. You have to do that when you have such good Friends who just happen to operate Dún Ard!
