Situated between Clonmel and Dungarvan in the Nire Valley, Hanora's Cottage Guesthouse and Restaurant is surrounded by picturesque countryside, in which guests can enjoy hiking.
The Comeragh Mountains are a 20-minute walk away, where guests can enjoy scenic hikes. Guided walks through the mountains and surrounding areas leave every Saturday morning from the cottage. 6 golf courses can be found within 30 minutes’ drive, and reduced green fees, club hire, service and professional tuition can be arranged.
Pan fried Irish striploin steak and oven-baked Dunmore East mussels are just some of the dishes on offer in the on-site restaurant, as well as a selection of Irish farmhouse cheese with homemade crackers and chutney.

Wonderful couple of days at Hanora's Cottage — a perfect place, after a sumptuous breakfast, from which to set off for a day's walking in the nearby hills and to return to the home comforts provided by Mary and her staff, not least of which was a delicious evening meal. We'll be back!

If you want to escape the hussle and bussle for a few days, you will not find a better refuge than this with excellent food, and plenty of nearby walks to help the appetite.

We just love Hanora's Cottage! We've visited once a year for the past few years. It is such a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. We've stayed in the rooms with the Jacuzzi and have dined in the restaurant. The food is just out of this world, both dinner & breakfast. We've also been treated to homemade snacks upon arrival. I couldn't recommend Hanora's Cottage highly enough.
