Devon Inn Hotel

Very unprofessional staff. Rude and dismissive. Standing around talking instead of seeing to guests. Making people wait for tables instead of cleaning off plates etc. Saw lots of people leaving as the person who was allegedly greeting people was haughty and rude. No way to treat people. I think some people have forgotten what hospitality means. Avoid!

Wow! I cannot be complimentary enough. We had our wedding at the Devon Inn on July 19th. From the first day meeting Mary we knew we had found our ideal venue. Professionalism from start to finish, no stone was left unturned to perfect our day. The food was amazing, the set up for both ceremony and reception amazing, and Mary was on hand from start to finish to ensure everything ran smoothly, even ensuring the weather was perfect.
Most of our family stayed for the weekend at the hotel, and they were all left amazed by the welcome, service, food, grounds, attention to detail and everything about the Devon Inn. If you have any special event on the horizon or even just fancy a drink and a bite to eat or a few days away I would only have 3 words for anybody. The Devon Inn.

Called on a Saturday… food and service excellent. Called in Sunday on way home from Tralee and what a difference. Even though my mother uses a walking aid and is 88. It was obvious from lady who met us in bar that we should be joining the long queue outside for a table. Food was ok… dessert which stated it was a crumble… was in fact a bowl of stewed fruit topped with custard. The worst disabled spots Ive ever seen… totally overgrown and unkept. We had to reverse out to try and get into the car as branches off bushes were everywhere.

We had our wedding on the 24th of May 2024. From the moment we enquired about the hotels wedding packages with Mary we knew this was the perfect venue to host our guest and celebrate one of the most special days of our lives. The standard of service is phenomenal, their attention to every detail to help make your wedding day perfect is second to none! Mary and her team was incredible and put every concern we had throughout the planning and event at ease so we could enjoy our day. All our guests complemented the dinner service and quality of the food which was plentiful from starter to desert — the food was delicious. Thank god the weather was good and we had our drinks reception outside in the beautiful garden. I'd highly recommend the Devon Inn Hotel! If I could marry my husband again in the morning I'd still pick the Devon Inn Hotel great service.

The Devon Inn is a home away from home when most needed. A beautiful hotel with modern interior decor and warm, helpful professional staff. Sometimes a hotel deserves five stars for things a hotel inspector may never know matter. Thank you to all the staff for your welcome. Delicious food, comfortable rooms and pristinely clean hotel.

We had our wedding last Friday, what a day Mary and Debbie were very good to deal with. The food was amazing and the staff were excellent. The service was speedy too. No one was waiting. I would highly recommend it to anyone getting married soon!

Great place good atmosphere good food. What really makes this place is one staff member in particular. I forgot his name, unfortunately, but he was very attentive. Tall boy gave me a nice recommendation for food as I was struggling to choose what to eat.

We stopped over on our way to kerry. The food was good. The family room was a disgrace and I cannot believe that they are charging €150 for the family room we were given. There was a smell of must in the room. All the bathroom ware were rusty and old. The wooden mirrors were peeling. There was stains on the towels and we each had one pillow. I would not recommend you stay at this hotel. A lot of work is needed to upgrade the rooms.
