Absolute Hotel Limerick

I had a wonderful one-night stay at the Absolute Hotel in Limerick and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and efficient, making check-in smooth and genuinely pleasant.
The room itself was spotless and beautifully presented – everything felt fresh, modern, and extremely well cared for. The attention to cleanliness was outstanding, and it made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
To top it all off, the full Irish breakfast the next morning was excellent. There was a great selection, everything was perfectly cooked, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through.
Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend the Absolute Hotel to anyone visiting Limerick and would happily stay again.

A very modern hotel, clean, bright and comfortable. Well stocked bar, although when Ias a designated driver I asked for water and lime, I was told by the barman that they had no lime,, later in the evening one of our party asked a different bar person and it was available. We had a lovely meal overlooking the river, lovely setting, the food was very good. The service was also brilliant, very helpful and accommodating. The available parking was very tight and limited, no room to get a wheelchair out when parked. Only 40 spaces available at the hotel, there was plenty of multi story parking across the street from the hotel, however, it is a very busy street to cross.

I recently stayed at the Absolute Hotel and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. I was delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade, which made my visit even more enjoyable.
When it came time to leave, they kindly arranged a taxi for me, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.
I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone at the Absolute Hotel for their excellent service and warm hospitality. I truly appreciate it and look forward to staying again.

Everything was amazing as always. Have stayed here numerous times over the years as its the only hotel we go to. Can never fault it. Great Food, lovely staff, cleanliness and value for money…

This lovely hotel is the perfect spot in Limerick! The room was modern and immaculate. The location is great, a walking distance to all the sites in Limerick. We drove from the Shannon Airport and that was an easy 20-25 minute drive. The hotel has a nice parking garage. But the real highlight was the staff. Every one we interacted with was warm and welcoming. The young woman who checked us in was exceptionally kind and helpful. (Nov. 10) The restaurant staff were fun, kind and efficient. And the food was great I might add :) This was our first visit to Ireland and our first stop. It set the tone for a fantastic trip. Highly recommend.

First night was fantastic. Second night there was a wedding on and we could hear everything through the walls. Couldn't sleep a wink until the final song had finished. Really ruined the stay, as it wasn't cheap, and we came away feeling like we stayed in a hostel.
Breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were nice. Great location too.
If no events are on, this place is great. But note to manageament: If events are on, any room within audio distance of the events room should be given to event guests only, otherwise it ruins other people's stays.

We booked this hotel because it offered a king sized bed. The room we were given has a queen bed. The hotel is lovely & the staff is great but buyer beware! If you want a king sized bed, this is NOT the hotel for you. We called the desk and were told that it is a European king and the largest bed they have. We have been traveling for 3 weeks in England, Scotland & Ireland and every other hotel we booked had a king bed for us as requested. We feel misled & wish that we had chosen a different hotel.

Stayed here last week for 2 nights to attend a sporting event in the local area.
The pros: —
The location is within walking distance of shops and restaurants in the city centre.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, modern and very spacious.
The breakfast is delicious, with something for everyone and is good value for money.
The cons:-
The free parking that is advertised is very limited!
The car park was full when we arrived and during our stay.
The hotel receptionist directed us to a very cramped multi-story car park across the street, which was €17 for our first 24 hour stay and €13 for our second! The hotel receptionist did not advise that there should be a discounted rate for residents! This was only brought to our attention by the car park attendant, when he noticed our luggage on the second morning.
The bar manager closes the bar whenever he feels like it, regardless of the advertised opening times!
On our second night, all those in the bar were asked to move to the lobby at around 22.20 and the shutter was closed. Whilst we finished our drinks many more residents arrived and were disappointed to find the bar closed.
This was very disappointing and brought our last evening to an abrupt, unexpected end. We had been told on arrival that the bar is open until midnight.
If I was visiting Limerick again, I would not choose this hotel, mainly due to the lack of parking. There are better options available.

I stayed at the Absolute hotel with my partner recently for a JCI National convention. The venue was absolutely perfect from meeting rooms to Gala bar and dance floor they had everything we needed. The staff couldn't be more helpful we were so impressed. The food was mouth watering especially the lunch definitely worth driving Mayo to Limerick for again.
I asked a young man (Cian) could I wrap up some sandwiches for my partner as he was working up in the room. Cian and the manger (i think) sorry I missed his name were so kind they got a box of fresh sandwiches and a cup of soup for him. Nothing was a bother. The ladies at breakfast on Sunday were so kind also and really just made the whole stay so peaceful and relaxing.
We had an action packed weekend but yet left feeling chilled and recharged in this oasis from the storm outside. I couldn't recommend it any higher. Perfect facilities genuine top tier staff that want to do more for you matched with wall 2 wall comfort and good food. The place has it all. Next visit no work and im trying the spa too.

Another perfect stay. The staff here are so helpful and accommodating, they really look after you during your stay. The food is unbelievably good and great value for money, really is the best we have had at any hotel we have visited. The hotel room was spacious and spotless and the bar area relaxing and modern. Thanks again to the staff we look forward to our next stay already.

We celebrated our wedding at the Absolute Hotel this past Saturday, and it was simply spectacular. From the very first moment, the entire team exceeded our expectations. Our event organizer was an absolute star, attentive, professional, and truly wonderful to work with. The managers, reception staff, and servers all went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly.
The rooms were modern, comfortable, and spotless, making it a perfect stay not only for us but also for our guests. Special mention must go to the chef: the food was outstanding, plentiful, and absolutely delicious, people are still talking about it! The celebration itself was full of energy and joy, thanks to the flawless organization and welcoming atmosphere.
We could not have chosen a better venue for our special day. The Absolute Hotel made our wedding unforgettable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place in Limerick.

A one night stay for a wedding anniversary with Rory's travels bed and breakfast with a 3 course meal included.
Checked in with the warmest welcome from Nicola we were upgraded to a beautiful room then.
Went locally to Treaty Brewery, Katie Daly's then to finish before dinner the Locke Bar then back to the hotel for our dinner which was superb. Served by Caitlin and Cian lovely atmosphere. Our breakfast was amazing also, fresh hot porridge and full irish breakfast loads to choose from for all tastes. Sat outside on the terrace with the freshly brewed coffee and digested the breakfast. Lucky for us a beautiful sunny morning with lovely views of the river & some swans. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, one of the best hotel stays we have had & more special in our home city of beautiful Limerick.

During our two weeks in Ireland from Canada this is our favorite hotel. Right from our check in with Molly, the lovely front desk staff, to a delicious breakfast at Harry’s restaurant, we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean and very comfortable. Espresso machine in the room and bottled water provided were nice touches. The location is very close to tourist sites and the hotel had lots of free parking. Highly recommend Absolute in Limerick!

We had a fantastic stay at The Absolute Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and helpful. The hotel has a modern, stylish feel with very comfortable rooms, spacious, spotless, and well-equipped.
The location is great, close enough to walk into the city centre but still quiet and relaxing. We also really enjoyed the bar and restaurant, great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service.

The ONLY bad thing about this place is the parking. They have over a hundred rooms but only 20 or less spots. You have to pay (13euro/night) to park across the street in a tight garage. Very unfamiliar to an American because hotels validate parking if they don’t have their own, but it’s also uncomfortable leaving your rental car in a right garage across the street. Technically you can park in their hotel garage which is very tight so if you have to make U-turn in there and you’re not a very good driver then it might make you anxious. Anyway their garage is full by about 7pm. So if you plan on going anywhere and not having to cut your day early, then you’ll have to pay and walk across the street.
If you can get past the parking situation the staff here are extremely friendly. Nicole at the front desk even gave us good recommendations to visit. The rooms are neat and attended daily. They have espresso machines in them. The view is wonderful from the room overlooking the river, the bathroom is very nice and spacious. Overall would I recommend to stay here? Yes I would.

Lucky to have gotten an upgrade on the room which was great! Decided to add the flat fee offered for breakfast and dinner and the food was outstanding in taste! portions are huge of course so hard to get through a 3 course meal but if you are in the area go there for a meal! Located on the river so it’s picturesque too!

This is by far the best hotel in Limerick, I have stayed in them all. We were greeted by a beautiful young lady called Molly. She made us instantly feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful, clean and smells gorgeous. Our room a river view king was spacious, spotless and was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was discounted for residents which is a good price 14 euro per person. We also interacted with Jessica who was a pleasure to deal with. My only gripe is the parking. The parking garage can only hold 40 cars. Across the street there is road construction so no parking. I would suggest the hotel allows visitors to use the public parking across the street and offer a nightly discount. I can't wait to stay again on my next trip to Limerick.
