We stayed at the Maldron last weekend during the extremely warm weather. The hotel staff were all courteous and friendly and the food was very good. I have only two issues, firstly we had to have our room key reprogrammed 4 times during a 3 day stay which was very inconvenient as we were on the 3rd floor and this required a trip back to reception having arrived at the room. Secondly there was no air conditioning in our room which made another wise comfortable room extremely uncomfortable, I asked for a fan however none were available. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

This place is a big series of "but". Beds are comfortable BUT it's so noisy in the bedrooms all the time between the gypsy camp, the circulation and drunks at night. The breakfast is good BUT the dinners are not at all. Very little choice and usually it tastes like it's just microwaved. The bathroom is great and the shower always hot and with a lot of pressure BUT there is no ventilation and towels are like sandpaper.

Rooms clean and tidy. Pool was lovely. Food was very good. Foyer was very spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. Unfortunately there were some issues, the key cards are poor and had to be re programmed frequently, the bathroom door lock was faulty and the tap in the bathroom was leaking badly over the vanity top when in use. All in all, a satisfactory experience and well located from the adjacent motorways. Would be nice to have had something for children other than the pool like a small games room for example.

Average Hotel. Good breakfast. Clean and spacious rooms.

View was really bad and the restaurant was terrible. Everything else wasn't too bad.

Cons: old croissants, steam room not even warm, jacuzzi when works smells so badly with chlorine that I escaped after 2 minutes, room: every time I wanted use heater I had to call reception to unlock that remotely cause it wasn't scheduled. No whirlpool to dry shorts, no tap with drinking water at pool/jacuzzi. Pros: sauna is really hot.

Friendly staff clean and big Kingsize beds and room. Nice restaurant and plenty of food options in walking distance. After staying for 3 days I'd notice things like no toilet brush, tea kettle was broken leaking water profusely. Bathtub stopper was stuck, it wouldn't open, I had to empty a full tub of water. I called front desk. No one ever came to repair it.

This hotel us fantastic. Noel really is an asset to the hotel. Great chap. Hard working man. Food and drink is great.

Rooms are nice, staff are fantastic. However food in bar has let them down massively.

Nice hotel and staff but look out the window this beautiful day to see a dirty halting site.

Good hotel very close to Dublin Airport.

All staff are second to none, they can't do enough very helpful and friendly its like home away from home.

An average hotel in poor setting. Nothing wrong with room which was modern, clean, with a comfortable King Koil mattress. The towels had seen better days and we're rather hard to the touch. The large bar was lacking in any character and was very cold temperature wise. Reception is modern with welcoming staff, but had huge heaters sitting around edges, so presuming there was problem with heating although no information offered. Breakfast was lovely with fresh hot food constantly refreshed and a wide assortment. Setting of hotel looks onto a halting site where we had the shocking and upsetting experience of viewing a man beating a horse until the poor horse collapsed. Realize this despicable act is not the hotels fault but the it marred the weekend. I won't be back.

Great home nice room stay very nice.

Very nice. Staff were lovely, and the food was delicious. Taking one star away because the bathrooms could have been cleaned a lot more.

Pleasantly surprised by my whole experience. Very accommodating staff and the facilities are second to none. I also had a great time in Limerick, fab city!

Good room, free parking, 12.00 checkout. Hotel is well maintained and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but bacon and sausage need improvement.

Curious Hotel Circular. It is very well, and very withdrawn from the center.

The hotel is not recommended. The first room was so dirty that we had to get out immediately. Hair and Lint were everywhere. The bathroom was wet and all Dirty. The second room was "ok" but from "good" far away.
The rooms stink and there is a repair jam (dirty carpet, broken cupboards, broken tiles, etc. ).

Couldn't complain about overall visit. Just one "thumbs down" thing. On arrival we were told dinner was served from 18.00 — 21.45, this was accurate for Friday and Saturday nights. Unfortunately, when collecting dinner voucher for Sunday night, we were not informed that service ended at 20.45 and as a result missed the meal. Receptionist was extremely accommodating though, offered to have sandwiches made up — a gesture we greatly appreciated. Overall out stay was very pleasant indeed and will be back next time we visit Limerick.

A little far from the center (2 km) very nice structure.

We stayed in a family room and there was plenty of space for four. The room was comfortable. We made use of the swimming pool and it was great for the kids. The breakfast had a nice selection for a family. The only negative about the hotel is that it is located in a low class area so make use of the hotels underground parking. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Overall a great stay.

The rooms are clean, but up on the TV to something in the years come. The condition of the sanitary system is according to the age, the faucet dripped, the silicone on the toilet was ripped. The staff is friendly, but not motivated. The Breakfast is for British-Irish relations abundant and varied. The doors of the rooms to beat so loud we were at night from neighboring doors awake.

Good hotel on the outskirts of Limerick.

The food is no big deal, to the salad they don't throw dressing is dry.

Clean, nice staff, rich Breakfast.

The facilities are good, comfortable beds. Bathroom in the middle. Normal meals.

Checking in a little bit delayed, they said we would wait an hour before accessing the room, there reason given was that the room was occupied the previous night, and as it was a family room, it was large to clean and tidy up. Every other things was perfect. The swimming pool is 20 m long though not deep (1.20m). Professional stuff but the reception communicate in East Europe languages with their colleagues which is not comfortable for a customer standing on front of the desk, they may be talking about you. I would definitely recommend. Great break. Great price deal.

The Maldron is the 4 Hotel on our tour. And up to now the worst. — terrible location in a very "seedy" and dirty area. — worn device and located mattresses
— the "Restaurant" on the first floor offers a bad thing, apparently, in the microwave heated food. — the bathroom was not very clean, still ok, but not more. Positive staff at the reception, it should be noted: + Very nice

I would not want to stay if I come back to Limerick, here.

Very disappointed, left the hotel very upset. I would never ever again go to this hotel. Shocking.

Ok, but too expensive and too far from the centre.

Honestly this hotel is a sh**hole, brought my family here and it was to say the least terrible! Our view was a local halting site (but in fairness the travelers were tidy, organised and caused no hassle for anyone (and I quite admired there little set up) — the hotel on the other hand: Sounded the fire alarm @ 7am every morning, the balcony had 3 bolts missing from the guard which would have allowed my 1 year old fall 3 stories! Bar was unsuited to children, and heating was not working anywhere! It was pretty cold even though it is just September! I must highlight that the staff were so friendly especially from our experience — pool and bar — they were so kind and helpful and professional (thanks great staff! ) however the room was grubby and cold. Everywhere else was not much better (my partner found a safety pin in pool — thank goodness not in our kids feet! ) — everywhere was pretty grubby and cold and the area is tough, not somewhere we would recommend any family, and we are not fussy, believe us please, never commented before on a hotel, but hope this will help somewhere out there!

The veiw from my bedroom was a garbage skip the garbage truck came every 2 hours… the outside looks like a hospita… the walls are not sound proof… the bar food were ok… the bar was superb… I was sent to the wrong room by the staff… the house beside.

I work as a Social Media and Computer Applications Trainer and often use The Maldron Hotel when working in Limerick. The location is excellent — just off the motorway with friendly and helpfull staff. There is plenty of free parking available and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

This is a lovley hotel. Being based just outside the hart of the city I would well recemond it although the kiddys pool is 0.4m and in the big poll it goes 1.2m all the way but the rooms are very spaces and can be got in non smoking or smoking rooms.
