We are here with a tour group, and everyone has been so accommodating and pleasant. The surroundings are spectacular, as are the rooms and amenities.

I honestly cannot recommend this special slice of paradise any higher, The Croatian staff could not have been friendlier or more accomodating, the food is to die for and the grounds, location and amenities are worthy of any bucket list, highly recommended abs thank you.

Magnificent place, staff are wonderful and the scenery is amazing.

Unfortunately our stay here was extremely disappointing.
Not only were restaurant staff extremely disorganised (eg, bringing out wrong orders multiple times) but the food was cold both mornings, and our table was not cleaned properly. To top it off we were wrongly overcharged by nearly €300, I only noticed this when going through my bank account. Was told it will take up to 10 days to get the money back. Wouldn't recommend spending this much money for such poor service.

Beautiful surroundings and Tranquility.

Spent one night here recently can't wait to return our trip was cut short due to unfortunate circumstances but the hotel from booking to departure were beyond amazing.
From Deirdre who took our booking to Dermot the manager who had such a lovely word and smile when we left.
We only had opportunity to eat in the bar the food especially the thai curry was Room service was perfect everyone we met here was amazing. We are looking forward to a return visit this summer. This place really is a hidden gem.

We’re here as part of honeymoon tour and boy are we enjoying it! The spa is wonderful, the walks around the grounds are relaxing, the food has been outstanding! We would highly recommend everyone stay here at least once in their lives. We are already planning a return trip as soon as we can get the airfare.

Beautiful facility and grounds excellently maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Not so keen on the food itself. Thee mediocre (at best) meals so far. We’re actually going to skip the included Irish breakfast this morning and eat elsewhere. We will return. But eat in Sneem.

My family and my extended family stayed last Sunday night for my mothers very special birthday, we had the most amazing experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend a visit to Parknasilla. Great accommodation, great food and very friendly staff. Thanks to all in Parknasilla for a truly memorable stay.

Just amazing. Great spa, lovely staff, beautiful walks, grounds are child friendly and the holiday houses looked nice. I’d stick to bar for dinner as I found the restaurant too formal. Brilliant breakfast, stunning views. Just such a fabulous place. The balance between hotel and home is just right.

Amazing place. Couldn't say enough good things about it. Stayed in the lodges which are generously sized and great value for a family vacation. The walks on the grounds are the highlight. The spa is amazing especially the heated stone recliners. A typical day was a 90 minute walk with the dogs followed by an hour in a well equipped gym. Then a swim in tge sea off the pier in front of the hotel. Immediately I to the hotel and 15 minutes in the outdoor hot tub. Then a selection of saunas and steam rooms finished off with a snooze in the heated recliners. Lunch in the hotel and then either more walking, a round of golf, or a trip to sea in a rib to see the seals and the islands. The restaurant is top class. Staff who cannot do enough, a great wine list and the one occasion we had breakfast was memorable. The only slight criticism was we had several memorable home cooked meals in the lodge and the availability of enough crockery cutlery and utensils was a little hit and miss. But overall the experience merits 5 stars.

Beautiful place, great views and a really stunning walled garden set within the castle ruins. Well kept and stocked with a variety of plants and edible treats for hotel guests this is just a fantastic addition to a great place. (do not help yourself to the fruit n veg you will be reported via the CCTV) A lovely set of trails n walks take you in and around the woods. The Lobster was filmed here and it's a perfect setting.

An amazing weekend. Came to one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, yet did not need to leave this estate at all. Our daughter was well entertained with the activities and trails. The highlight was the seaside tour to see the local sea life including anemones, crabs and prawns. Great room, great food and service. Returned well rested after a short sejourn.

Very nice place with great views. When we stayed here the staff was clearly overworked and stretched and didn’t know how to cope with the number of visitors they had. We had dinner here too. The food was very good, slightly expensive for what you got. The restaurant was very busy and loud which took away from the wonderful view and romantic setting you are paying a premium for. The staff were completely overwhelmed and very slow. They had run out of the wine we ordered and when we got the bill, they had charged us for both bottles (which got amended of course, but still disappointing for a place that clearly wants to market itself as sophisticated).

We had an amazing week at The woodland Villas. We will definitely be back. We loved having a home away from home with a beautiful hotel close by. The facilities are fab and we always felt welcome in the hotel with the kids. There are so many different walks we didn't have enough time to do them all! Top of our list was the fairy trail and the treasure hunt. My 4 year old was in her element. She loved the pool and the playground. The Tram which served takeaway food at the playground in the evenings was a godsend.

This resort located on Ring of Kerry and on the water. The resort itself gives a nice rustic old Castle feel. Rooms are specious and updated to the latest decor but does not have either AC or a fan. While being in the Ring of Kerry, one can easily access the loop but if you don't feel like driving, you can enjoy 10 different trails at the resort which are well maintained and easy to navigate. Resort also has two restaurants. Both restaurants had great service and good food. You can enjoy great water front views while eating your dinner.

My daughters and I stayed in Parknasilla on Sunday 10th June for my birthday and yet again it exceeded all expectations, it is by far my favorite hotel in Ireland for its peacefulness and hospitality. We arrived at 2pm and our room was ready, room 212 is sublime with a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea and the grounds, very romantic for couples. We had lunch outside and then used the hot tub and the thermal suite area to completely unwind. Dinner that evening was in the main restaurant and the food was 5 star ⭐️ all the way. The service by the wonderful staff in the restaurant was so friendly and professional, I have eaten in the bar on my previous visits but in future will be eating in this glorious room overlooking the sea. The following morning after a gorgeous breakfast we headed for a game of tennis and a beautiful walk along the pathway out by the sea followed by a final visit to the hot tub. Now if that wasn’t a way to round up a beautiful night away I have stayed in Parknasilla 3 times now and each time just gets better. They have service with a smile down to a fine art but not in a starchy way, it’s like a home away from home. I can’t wait for my next visit which won’t be long. Thankyou and well done yet again to all the management and staff for making a birthday so special.

This was my favorite hotel out of the four different ones I stayed at during my first trip to Ireland. It is tucked away in a beautiful nature-surrounded area. This place is gorgeous and the staff are all lovely. The grounds have several walks that can be taken ranging from thirty minutes to over an hour that are each filled with beauty. Our room was facing out from the back of the hotel with a breathtaking view of a forest with mountains in the distance. I highly recommend a stay at this oasis. If you can, stay multiple evenings!

Words cannot express how much I loved this resort. The grounds are breathtaking and very well managed. Rooms were very comfortable. We especially loved the bar entertainment. Our massages were very well done and the thermal Spa was out of this world. I would return in a heartbeat. I truly think this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at.

Lovely hotel, we stayed in the woodland Villas. The villas are great to stay in if you are with a larger group. They sleep up to 6 people and have their own open plan living/dinning/kitchen area. The rooms are large and nicely decorated, although some basic maintenance wouldn't go a miss. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and very scenic. The Spa is quite large with many different treatment rooms and very well kept with some lovely views. The staff are very friendly, professional and are very willing to help with any issues. The service at the hotel was excellent!

Brilliant hotel for families. Fabulous location in Kerry. Fun for kids with pool, walks and playgrounds. Beautiful scenery, like no other place in the world.

Overpriced for what it is. €265 for B&B for a very average room. We had room 101 which was very basic. TV not working, Used soap in the shower and with no view for that price, there is much better value to be had in Kerry. The food was excellent in the main restaurant and there are lovely walks surrounding the hotel. Maybe there are better rooms than the one we stayed in but I would not describe it as a Superior Room.

Cosy old fashioned resort hotel nestled on a point by the sea. The main building is very old school, huge open fires, ornate woodwork and fancy furniture. Great views out over Kenmare bay from the front of the main building. Loads of little walks to do around the grounds and places to explore. Plenty of activities, kayaking, etc. Didn't partake of the Spa facilities but the outdoor hot tub looked inviting. The bar has open fires and a good selection of local craft beer and local spirits.

My partner and I stayed here with my mother for her 80th birthday in 2013. Unfortunately she has passed on now. I shudder to think how much a week's stay must have cost, but the hotel was superb. We stayed in lovely large rooms with beautiful views of the sea. The furniture was sumptuous, the food was excellent, the spa was luxurious. In the evening an excellent pianist performed in the lounge. The staff helped make the place special because they were so friendly. Unfortunately because of the cost and it is a long way to travel, I doubt we will stay here again. But I strongly recommend it.

This place is outstanding! One of the best hotels in Ireland I’ve ever experienced! Such a gem! Stayed for a weekend while attending a wedding and every little detail was catered to. Great staff and one of the most beautiful locations I’ve seen in the country. A must visit.

A fabulous place to stay for a night away the staff are so nice and helpful, the rooms are really nice, the food is really nice, I would really recommend a stay here.

Incredibly friendly staff and nice grounds. Sadly this place is expensive, exceptionally expensive for what you get. It cost us €800 for spa, two nights and dinner. Versus your options, there are better venues in the area. Wouldn’t return sadly.

The hotel is set in a stunning location. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable. The hotel grounds are beautiful. This place is magic!

Stayed in the Lodges. Staff is very friendly, spa is good and bigger than a little pool. The jakuzzi is on the balcony with a view to the ocean. All the surroundings are beautiful, highly recommended if you can afford it.

Very nice location for a quietly retreat. Huge domain with a lot of path. Spa, swimming pool, golf, a playground for the kids. The lodges are well equipped for self-catering and autonomy. Very quiet environment. The countryside is beautiful.

Lovely location — fairy walks etc are gorgeous. No cleaning in family units though and the ladies in the childrens area where lacklustre to say the least.

Wonderful Hotel, friendly staff and 5 star service. We asked if we could move to a loft room and they were very accomodating. They had our bags moved when we returned to new room after lunch in Sneem, and had a complimentary box of chocolates in our new room — Thanks Georgina! The Pool area inside and out are lovely — no kids from 6pm. The walks and hikes built around the hotel and superb. Food in PYGMallion restaurent was delishious, fresh fish and lamb. Breakfast was fit for a king. Enjoy your stay!

Beautiful classic manor house hotel situated with views across the water to the northern peninsula or county cork. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. A must see if visiting this part of Kerry. Wonderful for lunch or teas and coffees with beautiful walks around the estate. Accommodation is second to none with even the most conservative rooms offering luxury and amazing views. There are scheduled events on set days advertised in the lobby, the animal morning is not to be missed from 11 am on Thursdays and Fridays, we were lucky enough to catch a wonderful Owl display.

Excellent hotel. Stayed in the lodges which are a short walk from the hotel itself. Lodges are perfect for couples or families with ample space and everything that you need. The hotel facilities offer pool, spa and gym amongst others. The grounds of the Parknasilla are amazing. So many trails brings you along the edges of Kenmare bay and through scenic woodland.

Beautiful location, very nice comfortable rooms with good facilities. Pool and spa along with outdoor hot tubs overlooking the sea. Stayed here for our wedding anniversary, staff made a wonderful effort to make it special for us, as well as engaging with us with genuine interest. Only thing that would make it perfect — real milk in the rooms for the tea!

We go every year, have for years and so did my grandparents. It is the most fantastic place, even in snow, and rain. The staff are great too, probably the greatest hotel staff in the hotel world. Seeing the same faces for years and years gives a great sense of continuity and really makes you feel relaxed.

Nice hotel very old world but the spa ideas nice and modern.

We go here every couple of years to rest and recharge, it a wonderful tranquil place with amazing scenery and beautiful walks. The hotel restaurants are fantastic, we normally take a Woodland Villa for a week and have family stay at the weekend. The villa sleeps 6 and is very hi spec, warm and comfortable.

Shall return. Location has amazing scenery. Hugging coast set amongst a natural forest. Not all activities inclusive. No fishing. Children's room poor. But rest excellent. Self catering villas high spec.

One of our favourite places to stay great food and fantastic scenery can't wait to return.

In the top 3 of the restaurant I've been in Ireland so far. Highly recommended, breakfast is also delicious.
