Definitely a FARMhouse. ;) This is still a working dairy farm and you can watch the cows being milked. The hosts are VERY friendly. The house was full when we were there, however, and the kids were quite noisy for a time. Thankfully, we stayed on the ground floor so toting in our luggage was easy, plus we could park right out front. Wonderful people.
The best! You will find fewer places with a more unique and beautiful location. Mr. And Mrs. Garvey are great! You would be lucky to stay here.

I stayed here with my 4 kids in 2017. I had read reviews about being greeted with scones and tea and saw all the pictures of the ocean, and couldn't wait to arrive. After flying overnight from the states, not sleeping, and learning how to drive a left-handed shift on the other side of the road for 4 hours, we finally arrived. I apparently made 1 mistake… after being led to our 2 rooms, I asked if she was sure that this is what I reserved. I was confused because I had 6 different B&Bs scheduled for that trip, and every situation was a little different. She said yes, that is what we reserved, and showed the printout. I quickly said "Ok thanks that's fine", but she then quickly made it clear that if we're not happy we could leave. Then she continually kept saying "are you sure? you don't have to stay here". Also that we "upset her, we upset her girl" (she had a girl helping her). All told, she made us feel very unwelcome and unappreciated. After such a long trip to get there, it was pretty shocking to have to deal with that, especially in front of my 4 kids. I never was angry or raised my voice, I only questioned once if the room was correct. Regarding the rest of the stay, the house was adequate. The pictures gave us the false impression that we could see the coastline, but it's pretty far and over the hill. Breakfast was good. There really was nothing to do there, compared to places like Murphy's in Dingle, which was excellent. I'm sure others may prefer the bucolic setting.
