Two friends and I visited The Phoenix last evening and had a wonderful experience. The warm homely atmosphere combined with colourful interesting decor make this restaurant very special and quite unique. After a mixture of beautiful dishes we were treated to an impromptu session of flute playing by the owner, Lorna, and one of the diners joined in. It was a very different evening and most enjoyable.
A very homey, yet unique dining experience. Staff a very warm and friendly. Food is very fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and delicious. A first rate vegan/vegetarian restaurant where the menu isn't an adaptation of meat-centered meals but a celebration of possibilities.

We loved it here, absolutely delicious food and it all looks so beautiful. Very fresh food and very friendly staff. We came back the following evening because we loved it so much!
