I had my Daughter’s Graduation 👩🎓 meal in the White House today.
The food was just ok. I was here many years ago and the food was exceptional.
It was when I got home and checked the receipt that I was stunned.
I ordered sticky toffee pudding for dessert with one scoop of ice cream.
It cost €7 which is quite ok. As I was eating it I asked for another scoop of ice cream. When I checked the receipt I was charged €6 for the scoop of ice cream. Firstly I have never been charged before for something small like that and even if I was charged €6 is totally unacceptable. That comes to €13 for a desert. It wasn’t another dessert, it was a small scoop of ice cream.
I regret now leaving a tip and I certainly won’t be back for being unfairly treated.
I had my wedding here on the 11th November and from start to finish it was absolutely amazing the staff went above and beyond for our special day the food was fantastic there was nothing I could fault whatsoever I would just like to say a big thank you to Margaret who was absolutely fantastic and the waiters and waitresses and bar staff who served us all day and done such an amazing job.
Thank you all so very much for making my day extra special.
