We stayed in a double room which was clean and roomy. Service in hotel was excellent with plenty of friendly staff Good service is great to get these days😊

We had our wedding in The Maritime last weekend and from start to finish the hotel was amazing. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite the night before the wedding and it was huge bedroom with ensuite and balcony then a separate sitting room and kitchen and a 2nd balcony. Food in the bar was fab very good portions and quick service. Helen our wedding Co ordinator was brilliant from start to finish with all our dealings with her an asset to the hotel. Thanks Maritime and staff for making our day so special we will be back. Lauren & Johnny.

Just back from a 2 night stay with my husband and 2 kids. I've stayed here before without the kids and I really liked it but with kids this is a must. The family suite is easily the best family room in a hotel I have ever stayed in. Besides that everything else was great — rooms and bathrooms were spotless, hotel was quiet, breakfast was delicious (pancakes were a favourite) and staff were just lovely and helpful. Will definitely be back!

We just had a hen weekend in this hotel. All the staff were really friendly from front of the house with Elaine to getting cocktail lessons with James, not to mention the Prossecco Reception. James really made everyone feel comfortable and he set up a low size table for me and my Cocktails. My sisters Suite was massive on floor 2. I myself am a Wheelchair user and all I say is my room was immaculate on floor 3. Really spacious with plenty of towels, and shampoo in the Bathroom with excellent where no water escaped. Now the food, where do I start? Presentation spot on, portions very decent, everything I had tasted mouthwatering. Maritime, feels so safe to be in the current Covid 19 pandemic with hand sanitiser everywhere and staff and residents using masks. I 100, 000% woild recommend staying in this hotel. Just spent 3 days in the Maritime Hotel, lovely hotel rooms big and airy, beds and pillows very comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty but could be a bit warmer, had dinner on 2 nights of our stay food was delicious, had lunch on one of the days and again it was delicious. Staff are all very friendly and very attentive. I would recommend a stay here when visiting West Cork or Kerry.

Lovely hotel but I didn’t like the food in the bar totally enjoyed breakfast would go back.

Lovely hotel close to all local amenities-not one for hotel dining usually however the ocean restaurant was truly fabulous both for dinner and breakfast!

Just back from a short stay. The Maritime Hotel has excellent and very helpful staff, great location, good food. We had a wonderful room with a veranda on the fourth floor with lovely views over Bantry and the bay. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive from the girls on reception to the restaurant and bar staff. A special thank you to Noel in the Restaurant who went out of his way to ensure my mother was comfortable with extra cushions on her seat at the dinner table.
The only downside was the weather, misty and humid most days, but hey, that's Ireland!
It was a most enjoyable stay and we will be back!

I recently stayed in the Maritime with my children. We had a wonderful apartment room on the top floor with amazing views of both the town and the bay. The staff could not have been more helpful and were very friendly. The breakfast was also excellent! We will be back.

We had dinner with family and friends for my daughters holy communion last weekend, the food, the staff and service was wonderful. The breakfast next morning was delicious. Will definetly go back and will be recommending it to everyone.

Over the last two nights, we had the pleasure of holding a major fundraising event for two wonderful charities Bantry Hospice and Cork ARC Bantry, it was a huge success and so much of that was made possible by the management and amazing staff at The Maritime Hotel who have supported us every step of the way… thank you one and all.

It was the most enjoyable break we ever had. We were upgraded because we got engaged. We could believe it. Staff were so helpful and cheerful. Food fantastic. Penthouse outstanding. We we back again next time for a week.

Great location in Bantry town. Pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Underground parking is available but bear in mind that it is shared so direct access to the hotel is only available to residents. To check in you have to walk a short distance on street level. The car park entrance is on the opposite side of the road to the hotel. Use caution entering and exiting as it is a bit narrow.

This hotel has to have the most friendly staff I have had the pleasure to meet, from reception to bar staff and cleaning staff. Food was amazing very well presented, room was spacious and spotlessly clean as was the hotel. Great stop off point for exploring West Cork and south Kerry, will definitely visit again maybe for my 60th birthday this year. A big thank you to you all especially Linda. Gary &Theresa Molloy.

Nice bar, lovely atmosphere. The bar staff were very friendly, enthusiastic & helpful. In particular Ruth, was a great ambassador for the hotel, extremely good at her job. A very personable girl. A great asset to the hotel bar.

We had a lovely room overlooking the water and it was clean and spacious. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and we had two lovely meals in the bar served by Ruth and she was excellent. Would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Superb the staff and very professional the rooms are clean the restaurant is very cordial very good kitchen it is much more.

Had the most amazing stay for the midterm last week staff were amazing in particular Katie in the restaurant who was so kind to our three children, food was divine, pool was fantastic and our room was so spacious. Particularly loved the library room with playarea for kids and parents alike to chill out. Fantastic very family friendly hotel highly recommend and will definitely return. Thanks Maritime Team you do a wonderful job.

The hotel is located directly at the street facing to the quay and the sea. It's a bit tricky to find the entrance of the underground car-park which is on the opposite of the street and goes beneath the street to the underground of the hotel. Check-in was quite simple and fast. The room was clean and comfortable and although it faced to the street very silent. Breakfast was included in our booking and was very good. Service team was attentive and helpful.

Staff were always pleasant and polite. Couldn’t do enough for you. Hotel is very nice, decor amazing, spotless and quiet. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent value. Very clean and modern with a good leisure centre and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is very good, poached eggs are best I have had anywhere.

Great Hotel, great location to base yourself from if travelling and seeing the Beautiful sights that West Cork has to offer. The perfect night's sleep as the beds are wow. Exceptional breakfast on offer. Highly recommend this spot. Huge new Supervalu opposite the hotel if u need to purchase food or items on a longer stay.

Stayed here the 11th and 12th Feb, really enjoyed our stay from the minute we walked in the door we were made feel welcome we went straight to the room which was very clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the leisure center facilities the staff were lovely and again it was spotless. In the morning we went for breakfast we were seated straight away and there was a wide variety for everyone my kids highly recommend the pancakes. I highly recommend staying here the hotel is lovely and the staff are so accommodating and have a lovely welcoming manner and nothing is too much trouble. We will Def be back again hopefully next time we can fit in some fishing.

Lively, friendly & yet relaxing. Great friendly staff, good food & a great place for a wedding with beautiful comfortable bedrooms. Choice of great food in both the bar & restaurant. The Ocean restaurant is beautiful & give a lovely dining experience. There is also a great leisure centre here & spa treatments rooms.

Great Staff Great Food absolutely wonderful hotel.

Me and Sweetheart had a really good time at the Maritime. The rooms are really shining. The pool was nice, but a little bit crowded by young people who were rude and shouting in the jacuzzi though the guy at the entrance did his best to calm them down. It would maybe be better the pool to be private for customers and not open to everyone.

Could not recommend the maritime hotel bantry enough 5 star service with food service and staff. Myself and Catriona O Leary enjoyed our wedding their on November 03rd and can honestly say it was one of the best day's of our lives the service was the best you can get the food was top quality and the staff were amazing. Couldn't recommend it enough 5 star service and makes your special day that more special.

A lovely hotel with all the facilities, pool etc and rooms with great views over Bantry Bay.

We had dinner at the Maritime Hotel Bantry last sunday evening and it was delicious. The food was fresh & tasty. For my main course I had seabase which was cook to perfection. My started of Brie with salad was light & fresh while my dessert of Tiramisu was the best Ive tasted. Staff were friendly & service wonderfu, l they were so attentive. We will certainly return to this great hotel & its to be recommended.

Food was not great, had been around for a while and reheated. Waited for half an hour to get it to make it worse and, it was just the roast of the day, nothing fancy.

Myself and my husband stayed here as part of the rebel cycle in Glenariff. This is a nice hotel. Room was nice had everything you require. Had meal in bar and in restaurant which were good. Staff very friendly and polite. Leisure area was good nice after a hard cycle. Would recommend this to anyone who wishes to stay in Bantry.

Found corridors dark in daytime. Mirrored glass reflection in lift confusing. Daytime passing traffic noise unpleasant during midday meeting. Bar nice. Service good. Food lovely.

Smashing hotel, very modern, very clean, we stayed in a room overlooking the bay, beautiful scenery, room spacious and luxurious, colour scheme of hotel is very eyecatching and modern. Staff all very friendly and helpful, leisure centre is gorgeous and the pool is lovely. We had breakfast in bed, it was delicious. A very short stroll to the town. We'll definitely return with kids next time, they'd love the pool, it's the same depth right across which I think is a brilliant idea. Reasonable rates also. Very happy.

The Hotel is well located and we had from our room a beautiful view of the harbour. The decor is getting a bit on in years. The food in the Restaurant was very good. The Bar and the Breakfast are also good.

Had a nice stay. Rooms comfy with a good shower. Bar food was nice, had the chowder, but just needed a bit more seasoning. Will be back.

Good Hotel in Central location. Unfortunately a bit worn. The beds are located. The Breakfast room is too small for the amount of guests. The Service is very nice and friendly.

Lovely hotel with a really nice restaurant and bar. Couldn't fault the service. One thing that let me down for my stay was that I had requested a room with the best possible view and was given a room with a half window looking out on the roof. No room to swap rooms with a view. Disappointing as I had requested it.

I liked my stay at this hotel. Although I did not like the bar manager, he was a dick.

Great hotel, Honestly great! Staff were very nice, the room was 100% up to standard, in general a lovely looking room/hotel. It's one of the rare ones that the photos are exactly was you are given what you see is what you get. Excellence. Will definitely be going back soon!

Deserving of its four stars. Clean, well presented and excellent staff. Stayed in a family suite which was substantial compared to other offerings. Food was good and portion sizes were significant. Pool and other amenities are excellent.

Bantry is a seaside town in West Cork in the South West of the Rep. Of Ireland. The people here are very friendly. I was in the Maritime Hotel in Bantry on my birthday trip and it was a great hotel. One of my favourites. The food is magnificent. The rooms are top class with balcony's so you can have great views of the harbour. The only problem I had was you have to look at the floor because your room number is on the carpet not the door! On the TV you have sky, rte, tv3, tg4 and more. Great hotel. I would give it 4 stars.

Went in for a quick cuppa and scone. Staff very friendly and helpful and quick service. Will be back for more.
