Absolutely gorgeous old white stone hotel about 10k from the stunning Cliffs of Mother in beautiful County Clare. Lovely Irish music every night. Lots of amazing limestone landscape to see too. Well worth a visit.

Really good comfortable big spacious room very good food in the restaurant and a lovely fresh breakfast in the morning staff extremely helpful would definitely be recommending it and good value for money.

Beautiful Hotel, Room purposefully furnished, clean. Staff very friendly. Many Tour Groups as Guests. The Hotel itself is very old, but is well kept "in Shot. " Cosy Lobby. WI-FI available (in the Lobby area, not in the Rooms)

We had such a fantastic stay at The Hydro! The hotel itself is beautiful, front desk lady was super nice, and the guys at the restaurant even more! We also got to meet the owner, who was very nice too. It was a very Irish experience like we were looking for, there was a dancing and singing show at night. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Thank you!

Die Zimmer sind ok, pro Zimmer ist eine EU-Steckdose vorhanden! Das Bad war in Ordnung, die Betten leider schon relativ durchgelegen! Das Frühstück war echt mies! Kein Frühstücksbuffet anzubieten ist nicht mehr Zeitgemäß! Und feste Frühstückszeiten zwischen 07:15 und 8:00 sind nicht Gästefreundlich!

I would say I was served the worst breakfast ever It tasted like it was cooked two days before and reheated It was expensive for an old fashioned and grubby hotel.

Had a lovely wknd in listoonvarna stayed in the burren hostel as we were on a budget which was fab. As you do, me and my mates went to the club in hydro and was charged €35 per person which is the biggest rip off ever and that was the only club in the village so we had no choice to pay as we were celebrating a friends birthday. But my god fair is fair we bought plenty of drinks and €35 entry fee the owner should be ashamed of himself this is just greed. Greed greed.

A complete disgrace, the hotel itself isn't so bad but the staff! I don't even no where to begin. I'm going to make a Long story short because I wouldn't waste my time on them. We Got one key to a double room, when my roommate fell asleep and didn't open the door all hell broke loose. I will admit I had a few beers but was in no way aggressive all I wanted was my bed. But the bouncer didn't see it that way and kept telling me if I didn't stop asking to get into my room he would put me on the street and he would slit my throat if I didn't shut up. When I asked to speak to a manager they said what hotel in the world would have a manager working at 2am in the morning. (Probably the busiest weekend of the year for the hotel) when some guy came out and I asked could I get a key to my room he got aggressive and told me one key per room. When I told him I had paid for the room his response was he would refund me and put me sleeping on the pavement! I've stayed in hotels all over the world but I'm ashamed to say that in my home country I got abused like this! It was disgraceful and I'd never step fun in the place again. And just before the say it's a lie a guest who I didn't know heard all and tried to defend me but none of the staff wanted to know. The staff should be ashamed of themselves and Managers questioned on there ability to run the hotel.

Rooms dated, hot water tap in bath tub was turned off! Had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was horrible. One to avoid.

Had a lovely stay for 1st night of matchmakers festival. Helpful staff, great entertainment in hotel and had a wonderful time at Mike Denver at the marquee. Topped off by a most comfortable bed and lavish breakfast. Never tasted porridge as good before. Compliments to chef and all the staff.

Location is perfect one of the cleanest and well maintained hotel's I've ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly and nice must say the staff at the breakfast in the morning were brilliant couldn't do enough for us lovely food good drink nice warm friendly atmosphere perfect place to stay for a break highly recommend this hotel.

Paid 180 euro for double room and the group I was with spent a lot of money at the bar. Charged 2 euro for a pint of tap water. Complained at reception, still waiting for the manager to contact me.

Very friendly staff there was in March 2015. All in all very recommended. Live music were also there!

Good hotel, very large and designed for the tourism that has Lisdoonvarna especially in September due to the Matchmaking Festival. The decor is somewhat outdated, but it is a hotel of battle. The village is very small but charming.

Food is fantastic, hotel extremely clean, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
