VERY DISAPPOINTING! Very annoyed firstly over 2 items of clothing which Vanished? I left 2 items of clothing behind and apparently they were never seen or found.? i find this most unusual as housekeeping should be checking all storage for lost and found items. After calling several times and getting no answer from the Lodge I was advised no items had been found. How is this possible? I found the owner to be very RUDE upon asking where my clothing had gone to-he even had to cheek to ask me why I had left the items? On the night that we arrived I noticed the following; Met by a lady at reception who had no recollection of our booking, she said she was training and her husband would be arriving soon. We had only booked 10 minutes previous over the phone.? we were beyond tired at this stage having traveled over 3 hours that day. Dusty lights over bed and bedframe — layer of dust removed upon running finger across. Small item of waste left behind bin from previous people should have been seen and removed on previous checkout. Its never nice to see someone elses rubbish. The Toilet is in need of a serious scrub. I have previously worked in housekeeping so the above is simply not acceptable and the standards need to be reviewed and upgraded-i should have reported all of the above at the time of checkin/checkout but I declined for an easier checkout.

We had a great stay in lehinch lodge, the apartment was fabulous, staff were beyond helpful & made our stay so enjoyable. Location is also excellent for the beach and exploring the sites of Co clare.
