Anthonys — This place is so deliciously tasty. Today, on a long bank holiday, I tried his takeaway menu. I had a mouthwatering Rueben and fresh pizza. It was absolutely exquisite! I love this place and the food. Well done to all!

Had a fabulous meal here at the weekend. The food was amazing and the staff were great. Niall our waiter lovely and helpful. Will definitely be back when that way again.

My partner and I had the absolute pleasure of spending the night at Doolin Inn. Everything was perfect from the second we stepped inside the door. We had dinner at Anthony's that evening and the food, service and dining room were all amazing. The tables were well spaced out, which is so needed during these times, but this didn't take from the atmosphere at all. We were seated in the garden area at the back, and it was beautiful. Our breakfast the next morning was one of the most beautifully presented I have seen, with it all tasting delicious. We also got an artisan picnic bag on our departure, which was filled with really tasty salads, meats, cheeses and other treats. The service was also incredible — we felt so welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. We can't wait to come visit again!

We ate in Anthony’s last night. It was amazing from start the finish. The staff are so so friendly and we were made feel very welcome. We didn’t know what to choose the menu was so temping will we had 3 starters. Everything was amazing. The indoor outdoor part of the restaurant is lovely. No matter what you choose you won’t go wrong. Great job. We will be back soon.

My family and I spent 2 wonderful nights at the Doolin Inn. We were received warmly and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed and almost like I was staying with family. The place is immaculate and decorated beautifully giving you such an inviting feeling. The breakfast they present goes above and beyond expectations. Very disappointed in the customer service from Doolin Inn. We were due to arrive next week and I have been trying to cancel our reservation. They charged my card right away back in September. I emailed multiple times requesting a refund but no response. I also tried calling but no answer. Great reviews but no response when it comes to cancellations.

Very nice rooms and amenities. Conveniently located near popular pub. Buffet breakfast was outstanding; one of the best I've had at any hotel… Exceeded made to order meals. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking lot is a little tight if you drive.

Newly refurbished and good standard accomodation. The five star rating goes to the gourmet style breakfast with local touches and small changes each day. Nice alfresco area. Be aware there is no elevator.

This was one of the most clean, beautiful and well-kept hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable, ready to give local recommendations and help you out with anything you might need. The rooms are spacious with bathrooms ensuite for convenience. There are plenty of outlets for multiple travelers to recharge. Towels and clean bedding is provided for each guest. Breakfast is included. A cozy den with a wood stove fire burning to warm you up after hiking the cliffs was the cherry on top!

Loved the 4 person room here, super comfy beds and just overall homey feel, even had a towel warmer in the bathroom. Staff were helpful and great. Breakfast was fantastic.

Great place, very nice staff. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. Only problem, I think they should put a proper sign up on the outside of the Inn as it takes away from the aesthetic of the Inn and the village in general.

Super stylish rooms, obviously recently renovated. Luxury feel. In the quaint town of doolin, not too isolated, good pub nearby for food and pints.

The best situation, very close to the cliffs of Moher, is ideal as a base of operations for your hiking trails. Good breakfast. Against the top floor does not have a good insulation.

Best breakfast I have ever had in a hostel. You get the same breakfast as people stay in in the Doolin Inn. Worth staying there just for the breakfast. Absolutely marvellous. Clean and friendly staff. Absolutely beautiful spot.

Good hostel. The room was clean with lockable cages and sockets next to each bed. Great location with great value with breakfast included.

Doolin-Inn (where I stayed) is the "hotel" part; Separate building, in front of Doolin-Hostell. Doolin-Inn is pleasant and well kept. The staff is nice and the room I slept in is comfortable. For those arriving by car is fine; It is in a good location, in the immediate vicinity of Cliffs of Moher. Good value for money.

Oconners pub was exactly what I had hoped for from a small fishing village in Ireland. The tour guides for the cliffs of Moher, Pat and Beth were awesome. The hotel was Ok. No real air flow and the accommodations were ok but could be improved. We stayed one night there but would come back again. The walking tour which is 5.5k was exhausting but so worth it. Not for the faint of heart!

The only real negative I can share is that the bed pillows were about an inch thick. I know, as an American traveler, we expect things that the other world travelers don't, but nicer pillows would not be that much of an expense. There were 7 people in our group and all were shocked at the poor quality of that item. Several of us have visited 20-30 foreign countries and this surprised even us!

We loved our stay here in 2014. Good kitchen facilities and our room, in the newer part, was very clean and had a lovely ensuite. We loved the town of Doolin and would definitely stay here again. If you are planning to stay a few days, you may need to get your groceries before arriving in Doolin as, when we stayed, there was no grocery store in the town. There are lots of pubs, however, and the inn served a lovely breakfast. Very friendly hosts.

Modern, beautiful and friendly hostel. The room was very clean and exceptionally practical with not only Irish, but also continental sockets and reading lamps above each bed. I loved the shower which had great water pressure and very hot water. Only the (free) Wi-Fi reception in the room was bad with frequent disconnections, but in such stunning surroundings — who cares?

The strength of this hostel is without a doubt the location. Doolin is truly the capital of traditional Irish music and in addition it is also close to one of Ireland's most beautiful tourist attractions, the Cliffs of Moher. As a hostel they lacked anything, cheap quality.

A great place to stay, especially in March so we had the whole place nearly to ourselves. Nice people and a huge kitchen if you wanted to cook yourself a meal… which you might need to so in the off season since restaurants are rare. Bus picks up out front and to the right.

We stayed one night with our 4 children in family room. Hostel is so bright, fresh, modern and really clean. The food is great especially the pizzas! Staff and owners so friendly and a really nice atmosphere with a mixture of familes, couples, backpackers, Irish and tourists. Within walking distance of pubs, shops and Doolin pier where there are boat trips to Aran Islands and cliffs of Mother. Highly recommend.

We bought tickets there fot the next day. They cost 54 € and they done an error by taking the wrong date. As we noticed, we went back and asked for a new one because this was our last money and we needet to go to Dublin Airport this day. Say said no and we had to buy a new one. How, if we have no money anymore? And it was there error! I'm angry about that!

Lovely hostel with very friendly staff, we stopped here for breakfast. Their Homemade scones and croissants were the perfectvway to start our day.

Great hostel ideally located next to the bus top. Very informative staff and the cliff walk is a must. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. Nice cafe in the hostel, which has excellent coffee.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, they have great food (even dried dates for breakfast! ), the best location… I recommend Doolin Hostel with all my heart!

The Doolin Hostel was the perfect place to stay for my group of 28 teeangers on a songwriting tour in Ireland. Anthony and the rest of the staff did everything they could to make our stay in Doolin memorable. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we enjoyed using the common room in Fisher Street House during the day. The breakfast and dinner were glorious, cooked with fresh products. Overall, dealing with everyone at Doolin Hostel dbefore and during our school trip was a real pleasure!

Stayed here for one weekend of the lisdoonvarna match making festival.
There were 6 of us staying (Irish girls) and we were all extremely happy with our stay. Not only was the hostel spotlessly clean, but it also had a homely comfortable feel from the moment you walk in the door.
We were greeted by a happy gentleman at the desk (also have to mention the delicious smell of hot Belgium chocolate and fresh pastries once you walk in the door) who went through the usual check in pro…cess and then went on to advise us on places to eat, drink and dance. Also supplied us with a choice of taxis to get to and from the match making town. We were given our keys (which had a 5euro deposit which you were given back once returning your key on check out) and we went upstairs to our room.
First impressions were very clean, well aired and spacious.
All the linen was fresh and the beds were extremely comfortable. Also bunk beds had individual plug sockets and lights which was very handy.
The toilet and shower facilities were always clean and stocked. We availed of the included breakfast which was a vast array of cereals, yogurts, fruits and selections of toasts etc. All fresh and no shortage by any means. Our temptation ran thin and we gave in to the delicious smells which came from the hostels cafe later that day. Needless to say we were not disappointed.

Location is ideal for visiting Doolin. Staff were exemplary and eager to make everyone feel welcome and at home. Room was very nice. I did not mark down for the satellite connection. It is probably the only connectivity available at this location. The hostel's Wi-Fi is good, but the bytes only treacle from the satellite to them.

Frienxly receptionist, great rooms and facilities, cheap. Will definitely stay here again if back in Doolin.

The staff were the friendliest people ever. Very welcoming and helpful for finding your way around and providing recommendations. Small cafe downstairs has great pizza and other food and drink items. Very convenient location, near a few shops and the hike to the Cliffs of Moher. 10/10 would come back.

Best hostel we have ever stayed at. Glad we stopped over for a couple of nights. There is SO much to do around Doolin despite it being a tiny town. We enjoyed the many walking trails, visiting the islands via ferry, horse riding, and the cliffs of Mohar at sunset. You can walk to local pubs within minutes. Anthony and his wife are so lovely and full of ideas and true passion about their local area. They have done a brilliant job with the hostel, it feels more like a home and the facilities are fabulous. You can use the great kitchen or have a delicious buffet breakfast for a small price. The rooms are really nice and the general atmosphere is really peaceful and friendly. Everyone we met LOVED staying at the hostel. One of the best hostel I have found in Ireland. The breakfast is really good and the perfect kitchen. The fireplace room leaves nothing to be desired with the chairs.
