Clonmore Lodge B&B

This was a very nice B&B that was very clean in a quiet out of the way setting. You could see the sea from our window. Not too far drive from the Cliffs. The older couple of the family that ran the lodge were so wholesome and kind. He gave us tips on the area and history. Truly good people. The breakfast was home cooked a worth the $10 It’s a quaint building with several rooms. Very clean. We could also see an abandoned castle from our room. Livestock across the road.

John and Maura are wonderful hosts, very welcoming! The breakfast is homemade with large portions, John is very happy to give guidance regarding the area, the room is spacious, clean and confortable. We highly recommend to stay at the Clonmore Lodge!

What a pleasant surprise was our stay at Clonmore Lodge. We booked a room for one night on our 2-week roadtrip through Ireland based on the good reviews we saw on internet. And they couldn't be more true. Staying here really warms your heart. What a lovely family! They are so incredibly friendly. In the evening I went down to the guest living room to look into the books about the area and John came to sit with me and we had the most interesting conversation about Irish history, the hidden gems of the region and his family. He and his son-in-law Kevin gave a lot of advice on things to see, things to do, places to eat and drink. Furthermore, the rooms were nice, clean and very comfortable with a stunning view on the sea. This place is a real treasure. Thank you for giving us such a memorable experience!

Lovely place, friendly family. Views of the coast were awesome, along with the noise of waves crashing on the shore.

Friendly welcome — lovely sunset view from bedroom. All fine for a one night stay while exploring the area, Cliffs of Moher etc. No breakfast available at the time of our visit but hosts very helpful in giving options for dinner and breakfast and both were very good 10-15 minute drive away.

After a days riding in wet weather, this place was well worth the journey. A warm welcome and a lovely clean room. The Old Bakehouse in town did a lovely evening meal.

Beautiful place. Lovely family that run it. Rooms are super clean and modern and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious we were full to the brim. I asked for a replacement of bacon with cheese and they brought me out a little cheese platter. Really lovely people thoughtful, caring and welcoming. Thank you all and great views from room 3

Lovely bright room, fresh and very clean. Exceptional breakfast. The family run B&B is such a relaxing place with each member, including younger grandchildren helpers, interested that their guests enjoy their stay. John gave freely of his time to give us a full lecture on the local history which gave us a great sense of the historical and archaeological surroundings.
Not to forget the local pub 50 yards away.

A lovely place to stay. Very welcoming. Bed was comfortable. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. I would love to go back there again. Good taxi service. Highly recommend this B & B.

A lovely gem. Friendly welcome, clean, comfortable and spacious. Spectacular views and an excellent breakfast. So good we tried to stay longer but was fully booked.
We were welcomed by a lovely couple and felt very at home and safe. Highly recommend.
